Been one heck of a week lol
Freaking exhausted.
It gets dark at like around 5 pm, my work is outside and I had 3 days this week where I didn't finish work until around 7pm.
Add the absolutely lovely weather to it and you get an exhausted and irritated ReKoil @_@

Anyway, how's everyone doing? 😊

There can never be too many Dugtrio. Never.

Hmmm idk....

"A team of Diglett triplets. It triggers huge earthquakes by burrowing 60 miles underground."

I reckon the world couldn't handle a huge amount of them 😅

And:
Spoiler:

ngl... this one actually ain't bad lol

Sending good vibes! I also can relate with the university stuff since it's that time of the year, but perhaps what I'm the saddest about is having to wake up early once again and going back to that annoying routine... :(

Well, I got COVID, and a bunch of college stuff due soon, so not great. Hope y'all are doing better than me, lol.

Omg, take it easy and get better soon okay! Sending all the positive energy I can muster your way :)

Hoping you can kick Covid's butt Pikaboo!

Speaking of this godawful virus, I feel so incredibly lucky rn. My partner and I got tested earlier and, even though I'm fresh off a fever, we're both negative!!

Sending good vibes to Pikaboo <3

Oh right, I should do mine soon ^^"

I think my country says 5-6 months. So the earliest would be at the end of February for me. Until then I have to deal with some very questionable regulation. There are places that give free access to people who got the booster who still demand people who are "only" fully vaccinated to make a COVID test. At the same time there's a time frame where fully vaccinated people can not get a booster period (aforementioned 5-6 months).

Granted, I don't need to visit restaurants, etc. But still...some very weird decisions are being made.

I'm feeling a bit better, thanks.

Fortunately I got a milder case, it was pratically a flu.

In the topic of boosters, over here I think they're only rolling them out to the elderly.

That's so awesome to hear! 😊

Great to hear you're feeling better Pikaboo :)

Also, I didn't know they could lower the time gap required for boosters. Is it because of all the spikes in cases recently? (Or maybe that's just for my place bcs we've completely ignored restrictions here since December)

It just seems that boosters really are crucial in order to keep the protection high! The more chances you get to be exposed to the vaccine, the more time your body has to "survey" what's attacking it (in this case, Spike by itself, but it works the same way for the whole Covid virus) and find new ways to block it ^^
That's what I can gather from uni notes and all that~

I studied a bit of immunology during my PhD (before immunology became a topic lol) but I don't remember much ^^"

A lot of conflicting information is currently out there. Omicron spreads faster but is apparently not as dangerous as Delta. So there's a chance that future variants aren't going to be as much of a problem and things might slowly turn back to normal over the course of the year.

A booster is supposed to increase resistance against the newest variant. But the time frame between the second and the kinda keeps changing. Like, so far I've heard three months, five months and six months. If it is indeed ok to get it after three months then I would be able to get it (still need to look into it more). If it's five months then I'll still have to wait a month.
Doesn't help that apparently some doctors also stopped giving the shots. So I also need to check if mine has, too.

I've not heard about its effect waning after 8-10 months, though.
