The Count To Infinity - v12

I haven't ridden a bike for probably 15 years... Is it true that you don't forget it? XD

On a different note, it's snowing here today. Winter is back all of a sudden =o
Are you in Canada? XD

I may have mentioned that already but until now I had a car for about 13 years. And the last couple years it had mostly been just a liability, standing around and eating money. At the end I kind of hated it for that exact reason but it took me until the end of last week to get the steps done for it to be put down to rest forever. Today finally was the day.

I kind of have twisted feeling of that, however. It's gone through some very stupid things, as well. I was never good at the regular checkups and stuff. But I also had it during some very depressing times, especially when I had to drive to a factory line job I had to do during 2012. I would always play the same 1-2 CDs of random songs I downloaded from Youtube. One song in particular has kinda managed to get closely associated with that particular time frame and just the act of driving at that point. It's a song that I like a ton to this day.

The irony is that there'll actually be a release of the remastered version of this game next week.

Edge is just Chrome with M$ branding and Bing as default search engine, though. :P

You would think so but it really isn't! Same dna, wayyyyy better implementation.

Damn a car that old... was it a Corolla? I'd love to have that kind of longevity with the stuff I own (minus the liability parts ofc). But then again I can't trust myself to maintain a car well either + I'm so scared of the thought that I'll fuck up somehow and cause a road accident...

Mine is 9 now... wow time flies.

Most of my bikes only last a couple years due to my job lol
I replaced my previous one last January after 4,5 years of service. Which is probably the record for a bike I own and use daily for my job lol

On a different note, it's snowing here today. Winter is back all of a sudden =o

Snowed last two days here!!!

It was a brand new Subaru Justy. Generic as can be but it got the job done.
Tbh. I don't actually like driving. I do like being driven around because it allows me to think of other things.

No, it's not. And everybody who tells you otherwise is a liar! D:

I've always used Firefox so I wouldn't know. But I can kinda believe it. M$ would obviously optimize the software they ship with their operating system to fit it well.

Love that model name~ Just searched it and ooh it's so cute and boxy. I kinda want a car with that kind of aesthetic. Newer cars are too curvy and, although more fuel efficient and aerodynamic, just don't have that retro look I'm after haha

It almost feels as if mother nature was making it snow to play an April fools prank, ngl 😂

It's rather unusual weather for here, this far in the year, at any rate xD

Speaking of boxy cars, the old Suzuki Vitara comes to mind:
Spoiler:

My mom had one of these (though in red) when I was a kid. You couldn't reach the speed limit on the highway because it would start swerving all over. The noise inside was also rather deafening at those speeds xD

I've always found Chrome was very expensive in terms of RAM memory. As I remember it, each tab would take 100~200 Mo according to the Task Manager!

Firefox uses a lot of memory, as well. Honestly, I've been looking for a new browser for a long time. But with everything just being Chrome, Firefox and a bunch of really obscure things that just don't measure up to the big ones, it's rather difficult. <_<

I use use both Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Idk if it's true but I heard you can get Safari on pc. I prefer Microsoft Edge more than Chrome though tdh.

Obscure ones sadly don't have support for the niche extensions I like having installed at all times, so I stick with Chrome these days. It's not a problem really for me too bcs I made sure to load up my laptop with hefty amounts of RAM (24 to be exact, might even get it to 32 in a future upgrade~)

Speaking of binging though, the last long show I binged from start to finish was The Office back in 2020 lol. I remember literally not sleeping for one night so I could binge through a season and a half :p

I missed April Fool's day because I had a sudden impulse to reinstall Skyrim with too many mods after my HDD died...
What was the joke this year?

Nothing, unfortunately. These types of things don't fly with people anymore. It's sad but also not surprising. People just want to come in, do whatever they wanna do and then leave without being interrupted by inconvenient stuff. :(

That's sad

It really feels like "We can't have nice things" has become the new slogan of the internet, especially since the last decade or so.
Been meaning to read that yea lol, but I'm busy still with this interesting April Fool's thread (not exactly for the faint of heart however)
https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=470396
That thread doesn't exist! D:
I know this link leads to a Youtube videos. I don't know which one since it took forever to load but I can only assume that it's a song that was memed to death.
