The Count To Infinity - v12

Now that I think about it, most of the gameplay of Among Us is just talking with your friends and moving a character in a spaceship. It's the most accessible game ever :O

Same for me. That's why LoL is the first multiplayer-only game I've ever played, and it was like one year ago.
I must say though, most recent solo videogames don't interest me. I don't like the Ubisoft-like open world games (looters/shooters), I want my open worlds to be in a heroic-fantasy setting, and to be honest, "open-world" no longer is an argument for me to buy a game.
Is there any heroic-fantasy, Western, open-world RPG released after Skyrim, excluding Witcher 3? (Well, Elden Ring actually)

Elden RIng isn't even a Western game. Funnily enough: many people have been criticizing Western open world games for a while. And whenever they pick something as comparison it's Elden RIng.

I haven't played it and I don't intent to because it's Dark Souls related and I don't have the motivation to go through these games. But at least I can acknowledge that the team is doing something right.

It's not fantasy, but this game came to mind: https://store.steampowered.com/app/578650/The_Outer_Worlds/
Played this on the Switch at some point and quite enjoyed it. Apparently it has DLC now. I might just need to see if the Switch store has them =P

Gameplay-wise it is very similar to Fallout, just a different setting. Fallout in space more or less.

Although not a recent game at all, it did get a remaster a couple years ago: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1041720/Kingdoms_of_Amalur_ReReckoning/
I played the original version and liked it. Bit of a lesser known game in my experience, but quite good.
Can't vouch for the newer version, but should be good assuming the devs didn't eff up... =P

I was baiting for this comment :P
I don't know Elden Ring, I haven't bought it yet (wasn't even on sales for the Black Friday lol), but Dark Souls always felt like a Western RPG, because of the graphics, of the atmosphere, of the non-anime characters, of the Japanese stuff I don't like and that is missing from this game (high-pitched voices of female characters, over-happiness, the cartoonish-annoying creature that's supposed to be a comic relief, the girls that moan whenever they grab a weapon, the character that's a reincarnation of a priest and that explains the background, the weird camera angles, the way any swordsman draws his weapon in an exaggerated manner...), the character customization, the fact that you don't meet 15 characters that join your squad...
So yes, Elden Ring is made by Japanese people, but it's definitely a Western RPG, and clearly not a JRPG.

I renew my invitation to play with you :)

You know, there's "waiting" and there is "baiting". Only one of them makes you not end up on somebody's Naughty List. And no: it's not the Christmas Bunny! :P

Sometimes depends on the multiplayer game for me. I always like playing Mario Kart multiplayer for the chaos of it.

Me too :D
And it's also the reason why I started LoL: to play with my sister :D

I touch LoL for a few weeks every year before I get bored again x)

Never played LoL, but I admit I do consume some of their other content such as their Arcane series, their soundtracks and music, really enjoy watching the YouTube videos they release, etc. Sometimes if I have time I get to enjoy reading some of the lore behind the game.

The person above counted down? 🤔
Though they did fix the first digit being jumped by 5 lol
Let's all just blame FCG for omitting the number in the first place! :fufu:
=P

Anyway, I've never played LoL
I have or had Dota 2 on Steam. which I briefly checked out and quickly decided that this type of game is not for me =D
