Hey, I've begun to play Golden Sun (1/The Broken Seal) for Game Boy Advance recently! :D So far, it reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 2 (the Dawn of Souls remakes). I haven't really had any experiences with RPGs outside of Pokemon and Final Fantasy, so on weekends when I can play it at home, I've been engaged quite a bit in the game.

*Golden Sun flashbacks*

-Was stuck in Tret Tree for so long when I didn't notice the vine outside of the tree that are supposed to be climbed; they blend in so much with scenery! >_>
(And if anyone can answer this, what happens if you use Hermes' Water on Tret before reaching the "true" Tret within the core of the tree? It looks like if you use it on him too early, it gets wasted... :/)
-You know, Fuchin Temple, if you're going to have an invisible pathway, please tell me in advance like Fuchsia Gym did! I think it was by pure accident that I found out there was an invisible pathway that could be traversed; otherwise, I would probably have still been stuck in there.
-LAMAKAN DESERT. NEVAR AGAIN. (To add insult to injury, the Jupiter Djinn Smog is secretly hidden in that treacherous, terrible, horrifying place!)
-Next time I play, I will be exploring Kalay...
-It gets really annoying when you see Djinn that you can't access. I'm hoping that I unlock a certain ability or something to backtrack and reach them later on, but it gets confusing remembering all of the Djinn I've seen so far... (FYI, I'm not using a walkthrough on this and I'm avoiding the majority of Golden Sun Wiki...).

Also, here's a little post I drafted up earlier for the Nintendo 64's 15th Anniversary, if anyone wants to read... (spoilered so I don't get yelled at)

Posting in here to say Happy 15th Birthday/Anniversary, Nintendo 64! :cer_boogie: The first modern home videogaming console that I actually owned, many fun times were had, and are still had. Super Mario 64, Super Smash Brothers (64), Pokémon Stadium 2, NFL: Blitz, and Rocket: Robot on Wheels are just some of the fantastic gems that I've been graced with the opportunity to play and own (SM64, SSB64 and Rocket are the only ones that I actually got myself, with the others being gifts. I STILL admonish myself for selling Super Mario 64 like a n00b years ago in my youth, and hope to some day complete that beauty of a game, among others. And hearing this classic track in Brawl only opens the floodgate of memories even further...).

Some friends managed to let me play other classics like StarFox 64, Mario Kart 64, Pokémon Snap, Bomberman 64, Wave Race 64, which I'm grateful for. I intend to get StarFox 64 3DS and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS at some point as well, the latter of which I will be experiencing for the first time ever. And despite all of these aforementioned titles, there are still some Nintendo 64 games that I wish I could have experienced...

In conclusion, thank you, dear Nintendo 64, for providing some of the best gaming experiences ever, as well as paving the way for my journey as a gamer to this day. Truly a masterpiece of a gaming console. :cer_nod:
Thank goodness that you still function, an ability unfortunately denied to many Nintendo 64s today... :(

*Special mention goes out to the N64 installment of Super Smash Bros., which is most likely the N64 game that I have the most play time logged in, as well as the only N64 game that I have "properly" completed/beaten. Without it, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which is my current favorite videogame title of all time, would be nonexistent. Furthermore, the game (and the sequels) are the primary factor responsible for my exposure to pretty much every other Nintendo franchise aside from Super Mario [64] and Pokémon. The day I played Super Smash Bros. for the first time ever will forever be treasured and etched in my memory; hardly any experience has been able to rival the emotions and awe running through me that day...
