Chikara, why is there Korean in your usertitle? XD

I need to see GS or whatever that show is with Yoko in it. So many fads this year!

I've been planning to see Gurren Lagann for a while now, but I've never actually gotten myself around to it. I wanted to wait until I finished watching the Death Note anime, but I just finished reading the manga, so I could probably put off watching the anime until later and watch GL instead. I can't focus on more than one series at a time. XD;

I tried getting into Death Note.... but... I don't know, it just never took off with me.
The newest anime I'm into is Code Geass (dub). So far I like the series... then again I'm only a few eps in.

Really? I like Death Note.

Code Geass =DD, Ewww dub, Kidding I actually prefer the dubs over the original *shot'd*

Because Japan is overrated and Korea is where it's AT.
...no, I couldn't think of anything to put in it so I decided on something no one could read.

I'm in way over my head with anime right now. I'm watching 3, Hayate no Gotoku!, Sumomomo Momomo, and kinda sorta paying attention to Code Geass. I guess that's not way, but I'm thinking of dropping Code Geass for a while and focus on my comedies (b'')b

About Yoko's rifle...

Source: Wikipedia
She wields an extensive range of firearms, most frequently of which is a long range sniper rifle modeled after the Barrett M82.

If this is it, the barrel looks like it was taken from a PTRS-41. xD

Indeed; though I was able to mysteriously watch all the Japanese episodes. Some of the characters are really aggravating to hear and provokes me in wanting to end someone's life when witnessing their degrading moments.

Actually, I first started reading Death Note in the eighth grade, but I couldn't get myself into it. I don't know why, but I asked the same friend who lent me Death Note then to lend it to me a few weeks ago. My opinion of it changed. I guess my taste in manga just changed over the past two years...? Perhaps it was because there was (and still kind of is) a massive Death Note craze at my school then? XD;

The anime's not as good, imo. I got a lot more out of reading the manga than watching the anime. The one thing I do really like about the English dub are the voice actors they have. I quite like them. :3

Same. I don't know why but it just doesn't agree with me. Not that it's a food, but, you know what I mean. Death Note was actually the only anime I bothered watching for the last six years and to me, it was an epic fail. But at least I know that I can always look for anime advice from a few members of this forum should I need it, I'll just probably never trust them after they were raving so much about Death Note that I felt I just had to watch it.

Here's a better view of Yoko's rifle. The barrel length seems about right for a PTRS, but the muzzle brake is different. Also, as I've mentioned before, it isn't bulky enough to be based solely on the M82.

What they didn't tell you that Death Note was decent (not particularly good or bad per se, just decent) up until episode 25, then promptly collapsed under its own weight afterwards due to the strain of having to compress the other half of the base manga into just twelve episodes. Yes, you should probably never trust them again for withholding that information from you.

That's why I prefer the manga...but I forgot where I left of so I havent even finished it yet.

I jsut dont want to see Poor L die. T^T

True... I was thinking maybe there were a few early PTRSs with that kind of muzzle brake.

Their idea could've just been a lightweight M82 (if you think about it, a woman of that physique would find great difficulty in carrying a normal verison the way she seems to hold/carry that). I for example based this ultimately on the P90, and I've come out with a dual-barrel, drum-fed PDW twice the size. In other words, artistically-speaking, once you've got a base you can go anywhere with it...

I like both reading manga & watching anime the same. If a series has both then I do both.

I take anime over manga, mainly because I like watching something over reading. XD
Same here, for the most part...

I mainly read mangas for anything not covered in anime versions of the same material and whenever the anime decides to take a break.

I don't have a prob with manga... I do read a good bit of manga... but if it's in anime form then it's what I'm going with. XD

I can normally do both, I'd prefer anime over manga, but the mange normally tends to be better if the anime is based on a manga.

No, they didn't tell me that. I am never trusting anyone on anything anime except you, Jack O'Neill.

Actually, a thought just popped into my mind; does The Pokecommunity have a Wiki?

Death Note is still just as bad in the second half if the manga, it just takes a lot longer to get to the end. You should watch the second movie instead, it gives the series such a great ending, ignores the second half of the manga, you may not like the first and you really don't need to see it to get the second movie.

I Find both Death note and Code geass slightly similar to eachother with the whole 'Using higher power to bring Justice with nothing in my path' The anime of DN is not bad, yet It hasn't been that exciting as I hoped, both CG and DN have raving fans that overrate the show from there liking of what I know as 'Characters' instead of 'storyline'.

I have to agree with you there. I found myself losing a bit of interest in the second half of the manga because it was so dragged out. The last volume was quite disappointing, imo.
