I really hate to be that person, but does a company like Game Freak really measure a particular games' success in anything but sales numbers? I dunno, maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about, but it's not like The Pokemon Company International sends out a survey on behalf of Game Freak and asks "well how did you enjoy x game", yknow? It's hard to really determine what Game Freak really takes into consideration and how in-tune they generally are with the Pokemon fanbase as a whole.

Of course not, I was going to mention that myself and say it's why I'm not hopeful at all that longtime fans will be listened to, since the numbers are as good as ever, but I didn't want to be totally negative. Oh well.

Higher crit rates and if your pokemon ever hung on by one hp thats bc of pokemon refresh. Also if they recover status ailments.

Luckily that doesn't apply to battling on wifi or the like. But yeah, it's a bit cheap at times, haha. They can randomly dodge attacks too.

Yeah, I believe that's the same for Pokémon Amie in gen 6 too, don't know why they'd add this kind of thing.

Well i mean. There's sylveon for one. I like pokemon aime and refresh its rly cute playing with your pokemon and i suppose they needed to give some sort of insentive to do it?

I don't condone Pokémon Amie/Refresh for allowing interactions with Pokémon at all, I also think it's really cute. But those boosts just seem pretty unnecessary to me.

I used it for my first playthrough of Sun and Ultra Sun, but after that, I stopped, because it takes up time.

I did it after battle if my pokemon was poisoned or smth but otherwise i was too lazy for it in SM. I mean they got more hearts gradually well enough just by healing or cleaning then after the end of the battle.
