I live in a place with zero public transport.

I love being able to drive on quiet country roads but I absolutely detest driving in cities and busy areas, especially places I don't know.

This tbh. I can totally understand people not wanting to learn to drive if they live in a city because I feel like I would've been the same way.

If I lived in a busy city I would seriously consider giving up driving entirely, although I have problems using public transport so I'm not sure if I could.

I would also miss being able to get out into the countryside. I guess I could always keep a car but only use it for out of town stuff.

The NYC borough I live in definitely benefits from a car, but I don't drive because of driving anxiety and often falling asleep on my commutes. I seem to get sleepy and have a hard time not closing my eyes as soon as I step into a vehicle. Not going to put myself or others at risk @_@

EDIT: Annnnnd adding likes on this forum doesn't seem to work so well anymore o_O; it only lets me like ONE post....weirrrrd

Hmmm it doesn't? What theme are you using, and is it still happening??

I live in a place with great public transit. I don't think I'd ever want a car unless I had kids, and that probably won't happen, so....

honestly be glad you guys don't live here

public transit is shitty as is and because of that a lot of people prefer to drive, which causes severe backups during rush hour

I love the metro system here. So affordable and efficient. We might get packed in like sardines at rush hour and I've needed to learn the art of pushing but it works.

Yeah there's some buses around like... the mall area but that's literally it for public transportation. I never even tried to see how well it was honestly bc by the time I even lived in the area it was just easier to drive or even just walk if I was feeling up to it. I miss being within semi walking distance from a Target and Walmart lol. Now I have to try to run my errands before I go home on the days I work or just on my off days if I'm even feel up to leaving the house.

Speaking of, the governor here just introduced a proposal to up the gas tax in order to fund infrastructure improvements.

I've been playing Kirby Super Star: Ultra yesterday xD

Cute game. Mirror Kirby reminds me of MissingNo. lol

Wish playing it coulda gave me EPIC dreams tonight, though....U.U;;;
