Haha, my .22 Rifle will do just fine.

This forum has the strangest thread titles. I guess that is a trend around here.

isn't it weird to have a theme from a movie you've never seen....

Alien was terrifying movie. I watched it as a kid and it gave me nightmares. That scene with the mech fighting though was epic.

I never got to watch any potentially "scary" movies as a kid, my parents would always refuse to let me do so. X| Sigh. Nothing PG-13 until I was actually close to the age of 13, bah!

I do wonder how I would have reacted to such movies if I had, considering I don't scare too easily by now.

I also like Prometheus too - not as good as the original Alien/Aliens but it was a great way to re-start that franchise with an original work. Plus I thought the premise (the ancient maps and cave drawings showing alien contact & leading to the engineer's basecamp) was really cool.

I really liked Prometheus, but couldn't sit through any of the Alien or Predetor movies. I'd just get bored or distracted from them. I kinda liked the first Alien, but that's it.

The old Alien movies are great, I enjoyed them so much. I watched them like... Two years ago, I didn't watched scary movies as a kid, I was lucky.

I hope you haven't watched Resurrection, for your own sake.

The only thing that really bothers me about Prometheus is how Charlize Theron was incapable of running sideways, or even diagonally. Like... get it together, Vickers. There were other little things that continue to nag at me, but that's the only aspect that pisses me off. Otherwise, I was satisfied. Hopefully the sequel/prequel (whatever) will learn from the mistakes that were made and give us the film we've been waiting for since Aliens.

So many movies I haven't seen... lol

I have a big enough hard drive and a fast internet connection... maybe I should download some.

I tried getting Jobs but it was slow as molasses, is it any good?
