AROUND THE CAMPFIRE - 5​

The Heroes fled from the chamber immediately, fearful at the now-collapsing ceiling. The Giant's thrashing had caused a cave-in.

As they fled, one was caught under the rubble and was crushed. The rest didn't have time to stop and help, choosing the corridor that led deeper into the Dungeon. One among them had opted for escape, but the collapsing chamber prevented that. Unfortunate.

They slowed down, catching their breath as they realized the only way was deeper. A faint drumming sound could be heard coming from the depths. Drums that beckoned for them to come nearer.

Nearer to their doom.

THE GAMEPLAY​

Spoiler:

Each phase will consist of two parts, a day phase and a night phase, though these may function slightly differently in this version of Mafia.

IN THE DUNGEON (Day Phase)

While In the Dungeon, all players will be required to [ATTACK]. Attacking is how we will be voting, only your votes will count as actual physical strikes against enemies. Your attack power is determined by your role and your HP will decrease each time you're attacked. What this means is that even if you attack a player, they may not die if they have HP remaining. It also means we can have multiple deaths per day phase because ALL attacks will strike unless a bonus ability dictates otherwise.

When you reach 0 HP, you are DEAD and are eliminated from the game. You may not post again once dead and your role will NOT be revealed.​

AROUND THE CAMPFIRE (Night Phase)

While Around the Campfire, the Heroes will be able to mend wounds, perform NAs, and prepare for the next day phase. At the same time, the Evils and Terrors will be working to hurt, disrupt, or otherwise damange the Heroes while they rest.

No one may post while Around the Campfire. If you do post, you will be reduced to 1 HP! Your role will not be publicly revealed any longer.​

OTHER INFO

If you miss a single vote, your HP will drop by 50%. If you start with 100 HP and miss a vote, you'd be at 50 HP. If you miss a second vote, you will be killed if still alive.

YOU MAY ONLY SUBMIT ONE ATTACK A DAY. If you change your attack to someone else, it will be ignored (and if you change the actual post, I can go back and view your edit), so vote wisely.

Do not discuss the game outside of this thread or specifically-created Skype chats.

All night actions and role powers must be submitted by PM to me and only me.

No PM sharing!

Abstaining from votes is not allowed.​

IN THE DUNGEON - 6​

The Jester strummed on his mandolin through the night. He saw shadows flickering past the tiny cave they hid in, but the fires of their camp and the sounds of the mandolin kept some foulness from their camp.

But the Grave Robber was out of the camp, sneaking to the small dirt mounds that held the bodies of the fallen. She crouched down behind some rubble and looked around nervously. She sensed the Evil one nearby and stayed hidden as it glided from the deep Darkness.

The Necromancer bent before a grave and dug the dirt off the massive body, tearing a large arm from it and consuming it. It grabbed the head of the corpse and twisted it off before cracking open its skull and feasting on its brain.

"Thissss is ssssstrength," it whispered into the night. The Grave Robber felt a chill run down her spine as the Necromancer looked right at her.

"You'reeeee next."

She ran.

The Acolyte was hiding behind some pillars ready to grab the first person that crossed him. His master was working now. He heard footsteps coming from near the cave and grabbed hold of his victim, stabbing them in the back. They shrieked in pain as a glass vial flew through the air, shattering poison over his victim. The Plague Doctor was standing nearby, gasped at what he had done, and ran back towards the cave.

Before he could reach the entrance to the cave, the Shambler grabbed hold of his leg, biting deep and hard. He yelped and tried to get it off him as the Gypsy bent beside him and smiled devilishly. His mask hid the terror he felt as he kicked off the Shambler and dived into the cave.

The Shambler roared into the Darkness as stabs of pain cut into his torso. He slashed his spiked tail at the attackers, who fled quickly, oinking as they went.

*Sigh* Of course the person I investigate tonight is the one who got hurt. I was able to find the identity of the Grave Robber tonight, but like I promised, I won't reveal who they are. However, if they ever want to RR and tell us what they know (if anything) then I can and will confirm if they are/aren't who they say they are. Sorry for being so useless this phase >.<

Also I thought about it and I won't say who I'll investigate each night. This is because if I do and I happen to investigate a Hero well... I can't say that I can't reveal who I investigated because I have already.
