Only operation I've ever had was when I had my adenoids taken out and tubes put in my ears when I was 6. I've avoided surgery otherwise for my entire life, and I'd like to keep it that way. XD

Yes, it is quite cool.

I don't worry about it too badly, since it was almost four years ago. My parents are the one who worry, even though my doctor said I would be fine doing practically everything six months after the operation.

Ah, I see. My surgeon said that I still shouldn't bend, though I tend to reach and stretch for stuff. I also started swimming since the surgeon said it was a really good exercise as it helps the muscles in the back. And it does! Although I have to make sure I don't overdo it.

Again this is me being curious again: is your back still numb from the operation? I'm just wondering, because the top of my back is still a bit numb when I touch it.

I would post pictures of my scar and of my x-rays (before and after) but I don't think anyone would be particularly interested in seeing them lol.

Apart from the scoliosis operation, I've only been in hospital once. When I was three months old I contracted bronchitis and pneumonia. Of course, I don't remember any of it.

I haven't undergone any operation even once :] Thank god for that lol. I did have to stay in the hospital for a few days when I was about 7 or 8 because I got food poisoning. Damn, that wasn't a good time now that I remember it :o

What's it even like getting food poisoning? Does it make you sick to your stomach, just worse than normal?

I've never had it that I know of, even though it's sort of common.

Well, it depends on how bad it is. In my case, it was pretty severe. I kept vomiting throughout the night, and I think I vomited blood once. Which is why I had to be admitted. Yeah it can get pretty painful too once your stomach is empty and yet your body wants to keep vomiting :<

Sometimes, but your surgery was more recent so that's probably why.

I thought maybe it was just me when that happened earlier today, because for a couple of weeks it would be down for days on my end of things.

Glad to see it's up, and that wasn't the case. xD

I agree.
I've heard Japan has recuperated well enough for people to think that the earthquakes didn't hit them!
It's amazing how they did all that. ^_^

It's still a time to mourn, though. :x

Yeah, Im sure there's still a lot of earthquake related fear. I understand that must be terrifying. I was in a small earthquake last year. Not like huge but there was a lot of shaking and it left me pretty freaked out for a while afterwards( it was about 5.9 on the richter scale).

Where I live earthquakes barley ever happen, so I have nothing to worry about. And, guys... don't forget to set your clocks ahead an hour. DST is so early this year, though I don't get why...

I've experienced an earthquake twice, both within the past year. Once when the whole bed started to shake, and the other one was about last week, when the whole ground started to shake and stuff.

Earthquakes are common (obviously) in CA. Not to mention I went though the 7.2 earthquake two years ago in northern Baja Mexico. That day was....pretty scary tbh. :S

I'm also glad to hear Japan is recovering so well a year after those scary events happened. Last night I was watching a special on NatGeo, and seeing those images it felt like yesterday.
