The "How did you find PC?" thread

Adventure began during August '07. I'm a regular on Pokemon Crater and my friend mentions ShinyGold in passing. Curious, I google it and find the link to PokeCommunity. Find out I have to register to download it and say, 'nah,' and exit out of my browser. Forget about it until the end of October and give it another shot, registering under a different account to my current one.

It's ironic because I still haven't actually played ShinyGold. My attention was diverted to fan fiction and after a while, I just lost interest in the hack.
 
I saw my Girlfriend on here so I signed up after she left XD
 
I was introduced to the site by Hayate. Back then I joined everything, can't think why though... It's just become habit to be around here.

The site's changed as much as I have over the years.
 
I was searching for a cool Pokemon forum and I found this one and joined :)
 
I saw a playthrough of Pokemon ShinyGold on YouTube and found out the creator was a PC member, so I decided to check this place out.
 
Well I was looking how to 'hack' pokemon games but not like maps and all that i just searched how to hack them. Dont think I even knew what a forum was back then tbh. Also Im also stuck in that same point in chaos black :p.
 
I think I just wanted a cool place to go to talk about Pokemon and anime and whatnot. Back when I first joined, freaking YEARS ago, I was SquirtleKetchum12(and I think I was 12 at the time) and I made some really cool friends, though none of them stuck with me til now. PC was hella active back then and there was always a new RP to join, which turned out to be most of what I did, lol.
 
um i was looking up something in diamond, breeding stuff i think. and the first link was to here so after i found what i was looking for i ended up coming back here and looking around and saw that everyone seemed nice so i joined and became addicted ^_^
 
I joined to download a beta version of an old fangame called "Pokemon Champions" way back in 2005. I've been active on and off since then, but ever since last August during the Get-Together, I've been coming on pretty much daily.
 
Well, I'd just gotten my Pearl version (preorded with both Palkia AND Dialga styluses. ^_^) and I wanted to look for places where people gather around and played Wi-Fi (trading battling). I came across PE2K, and after a while, I saw this one. Ever since then, I remained loyal to this site. I love you, PokéCommunity! ^_^ ​
 
Long long long ago, in time before the PC reset and the current PC as we know it. I was a youngling, quite new to the internet, I was on a proboards forum with some people I knew from other sites. One of them mentioned a thread on the PC and thusly I inquired as to what the PC was, they answered and sure enough I had an account there for a few years. Flash forward to 2004 and I remembered of PC. Unfortunately the reset had taken place, so I registered my account again, and forgot about it for years. Until in say 2009 I started playing Pokémon again, and returned to PC.

From what I can remember, I had found a "pokepal" on another website which I found after getting back into Pokemon in early 2005. This "pokepal" had her own forum, which she asked me to join. I had no idea what forums where back then, but after spending a month or so there, I had rather come to enjoy posting around. I decided to see what else Google had to offer in the way of Pokémon forums, and PC was the first on the list. And then I stuck around, and around, and around...
 
I was getting information on hacks and and picking out hacks to try out when I found out it was a forum:P
 
I don't exactly remember... I was watching some Pokemon rom hack walkthrough video and I saw this site in description. Later I was seeking something about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon on google and I started to just "watch" and read this site and I registered some time later.
 
Google. And story time!

I had first joined SPPf, and liked the idea of Pokemon forums, since at the time I no longer had friends in real life that I could discuss Pokemon with. So after posting around there for a few months, I decided to see what else was out there (I think this was at the beginning of SPPf's fanfiction section's slow decline). So I traveled with Google as my guide and joined the first two "Pokemon forums" results. PC's the one that remains to this day, and is the only forum I can consider myself "active" on.
 
I was playing through HG, and i had gotten a magby on the pokewalker. I looked up where to find a magmarizer on google, and got linked to serebii where it said i would have to wait until cinnabar. I didnt want to wait, so i decided to go farther in my pokewalker and get another pokemon. being lazy, i searched google for how to cheat it. I found the thread about that here, and after looking around for a while here i found the trade corner and decided to see if i could trade for a magmarizer. I traded a gliscor for it, and thus began trading. origionaly i was just going to get the magmarizer and leave but i didnt so now im stuck with this name xD
 
I swear I see this thread too often.

I wanted Pokemon Music, the site I visited didn't help, so typed it into Google and somehow ended up with PC. I made a few spammy threads asking for Pokemon Music in the wrong section and Jake locked those threads - he didn't even realise until lately. And then I left for like 2 days or something then I felt bad, so then I posted around and liked PC by December 2005.

That is how I found PC. :)
