Baiting people by acting "scummy" is a legitimate strategy, it has been done many times and it's usually those who do not care that much of the outcome that fall in such baits, i.e TheCapsFan and jdthebud. Saying that it's outright scummy is in itself, scummy behavior. That's what I meant by discerning intention, which you seem to be lacking.

Your example of Mana is just you not being able to admit and making the same mistake again. In that example, it was only you who couldn't really tell Mana's alignment, so you're wrong here as well.

But jd seeing your behavior as scummy and basing a d1 vote off of it is perfectly valid. Believe it or not, not everyone can always tell why someone else is acting like an idiot. Unusual behavior is what you look for to determine mafia. That is literally the point of the game. So jd was correct in this instance. The "why" comes after, and that's exactly what it did in this situation.

Acting scummy (whether you want to put it in " " or not) leads to looking suspicious and eventually being voted. That's all there is to it.
When I said you made a good play, I meant it was good in terms of generating discussion, which is what day 1 is all about, not that it was good in terms of bringing results. Because that clearly didn't work out as we're still abstaining.

It has nothing to do with voting you, per se. It's that he was making a big deal of going for a no lynch and then all of a sudden he wants to lynch, with no real explanation as to why he changed his mind.

I was still waiting for you to explain your vote which you obviously have now. What's wrong with voting for you based on this logic? I saw it as scummy. Just because you knew what your plan was doesn't mean I was voting just to start a bandwagon against an innocent.

I think my path must have been neutral since no PM.
I don't think Johnny should risk the hatchet either. I think he has a higher chance of getting a real one than the rest of us, but still not a high enough chance to risk it.

make you completely immune to being lynched or night-killed. Shame about the other way though.

One tribute, however, was covered in boils on their skin and were shaking, and as everyone rallied around to help, it was also noted that one tribute was rocking backwards and forwards in a daze, not speaking, and seemingly very panicked.

Welp I got a grand total of nothing out of that venture. Curious that someone would give Johnny a hatchet though given his tree status. If it was fabricated you'd assume they'd know Johnny would know better than to use it. I wouldn't risk using it at all, but it does strike me odd both him and Bard get a hatchet.

I wouldn't risk the hatchet, it's Johnny's only weakness so if it goes wrong then rip Johnny...
