I rearranged my desktop objects (no icons) and disabled my taskbar for an auto-hiding smart dock hotkeyed to CTRL+ALT+Z for quick access.
 
Windows 8 looks too smartphone for me, tbh.
I'd like Windows 7, but I can deal with ugly XP for now.

My wallpaper is the official logo of one of my favorite bands. I had to search for a large, clear picture of the logo, Photoshop the hell out of it, make it a pattern and voila.
