I decided to do a Sigma Emerald Nuzlocke run, Link to the hack can be found here.

A couple of things to note, I know the Mightyena and Torchic both share the same Route capture, however I don't consider the starter pokemon as that specific route capture because your starter is a forced event. Secondly, If there is no picture of a route capture, It'll probably be because I've failed to capture on that route.

Anyway, Chose Torchic, named him Flair.

My first encounter was absolute mammoth of a Poochyena, amazing nature. So Pooch joins the team.

Route 103 keeps the emerald dex alive with a Zigzagoon, Only one obvious name for such a pokemon.

Route 102 gave me a completely useless pokemon, Ledyba is so bad.

Route 116 gives me the dank type coverage, Unnamed Tailow joins the squad!

Rusturf Tunnel encounter is the one and only!

Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of Flair evolving, however Roxanne was an easy win!

I had completely forgotten that by me choosing Torchic, the rival battle would include a Torkoal of epic proportions, Swagoon got trapped in with Fire Spin + Smog combo which sadly resulted in him perishing.

Brawly was dispatched with haste to a newly renamed Keith.

Soon after Keith became Big Keith :O

Pooch joined her brother in becoming a bigger Pooch.

Wattson is a very scary gym when you have no ground type but I managed to get him with a combo of Sleep Powder and super potions.

Bebe evolves.

I don't like Spinda, in other games it's ok but in emerald it's a bit weak.

Once again I forget to name my encounter, will do that if I ever use her.

I prefer Solrock but Luna joins the boxed pokemans.

Flannery honestly scared me, Got 1 Hp'd twice on Keith. But he lives on!

Norman falls pretty easily, Slaking is a pain but putting to to sleep pretty much renders it useless.

So in a cruel twist of fate during my Y Nuzlocke, I ended up losing my starter...because a Lunatone crit him with Confusion. After that, I feared for the safety of my run since I severely lacked a Water type for the second gym. Sure, I had an Azurill in the PC, but I didn't want to raise it up. Luckily, with tons of grinding, Littlefoot carried and killed the monster known as Tyrunt and we can move on towards the infamous Reflection Cave.
