I just download all my music because I'm naughty
 
I bought a couple of Peter Hollens' covers earlier this year, but that was the first time in, like, six years or something that I actually bought some music. xD
 
I think the reason I don't pay for streaming services is that I probably would spend less money buying music than I would streaming it these days. Then again, I guess it's hard to say that considering I haven't actually tried streaming to discover if I would like it or not :P
 
Yeah, not supporting streaming is harming musicians these days. You can do both, subscribe and buy music. Just buy music of your favourite artists which are obviously going to support them to a further extent; while streaming will cover a larger amount of music and give royalties to artists you may not spend money on regularly. The reason why it'd be harming is due to the sheer amount of pirating that occurs, and streaming is trying to be that alternative to pirating.

Definitely worth the amount anyway, for such a method of payment outs.
 
I much prefer to listen to the radio if I want someone else to choose my music for me.
 
The radio just plays the same four or five songs over and over again these days ._.

My mother has Spirit or Heart on in the car, and it drives me mad most of the time.
 
I listen to Classic FM sometimes if Alexander Armstrong isn't presenting it. I cannot stand that man. But it generally has a little more variety.
 
my car doesn't have an aux cord so i have to listen to the radio or i have to drag my mini speaker around.
 
I still listen to the radio from time to time. It's fun to listen to early morning shows with a mix of music and news, at least for me haha. In fact, last year I won some money in a radio contest!(yes those still exist!!)
 
...would it surprise anyone to learn that I've had Radio Ga Ga stuck in my head for half the night?

I love the contests they do on the radio! There was one where they'd play a random sound and have people try to guess it, tacking on money every time someone got it wrong...the guesses got weirder and weirder as time went by. xD
 
Has anyone actually won a radio contest? I won a TV contest before, from a local news station. Won tickets to Disney's California Adventure on Opening Day.

Anyways, I feel weird being online on a weekend. I'm never online during the weekends. Studying for finals sucks.
 
Spotify is where it's at. I don't follow news and maybe it's worryingly that my main source of news and happenings is facebook or PC? xDDD

That just means you're doing it right (i.e PC distracting you from studying for finals)

My main source of news is Twitter. If something major is happening, it'll be on Twitter. I have it open 24/7, and as such, I have missed very few tweets since I joined in 2009.
