It's really funny you say that, Huseyin. I hated playing my game at night because I felt it ruined Sunyshore's music to go at a slower tempo.

I don't like the third gen as much as I thought I did! I think it's an excellent region notheless, especially with Pokemon, but I'm much more of a Johto/Unova fan. The first generation tends to be too bland most of the time for me, the fourth has brilliant moments but some don't hold up at all, and the sixth generation was ... yeah, okay, alright, not blown back amazing, but good with Pokemon.​

Pokemon already BANNED the safari episode because of the amount of time they used guns. Just image what 4Kids will do to us.​

I'm guessing 4Kids just didn't want to deal with FCC regulations or something along those lines.

Speaking of banned/cancelled episodes, it's a shame that TPCi actually received the two cancelled Best Wishes episodes, yet chose not to air them. There was nothing wrong with those episodes, nor was there any reason for them to traumatize international viewers, as the earthquake mainly affected Japan. I guess it can't be helped... :(

While the earthquake was more traumatizing to Japanese viewers, I guess TPCi didn't want to upset their audience as well because the event made headlines around the world. So out of respect, they decided to leave them cancelled and have references to those episodes written out of the plot.

It shows just how seriously Japan takes earthquakes.

However, my favorite generation, design - wise, by far is 3rd generation. From starters, to legendaries, to others (starting with Absol, Meta, Sharpedo, Mightyena...). Except for VERY FEW exceptions, Pokemon from that gen are flawless. Unfortunately these 6 Pokemon in my best team are the ones I still prefer. And it has very little to do with nostalgia/genwunning. Gyarados is a Water Dragon Snake. If you know anything about me, this should be enough. Arcanine is a huge, beast but chill looking Fire breathing dog that you can ride. Dragonair for some reason has always been my favorite Pokemon. I really like Snakes and Dragons man. Pidgeot is my favorite bird cos it looks cool but modest. Plus its the only common bird you might be able to fly on. Haunter is basically me if I was a Pokemon. Umbreon is perfection and that doesnt need any arguments for all I care.

The only problem I had was picking between Sharpedo and Gyarados, and Umbreon, Absol and Mightyena. :D

Read this and you should be able to find out that it was just a logic move. You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that TPCi will never let rest of the world see episodes that are banned in Japan.

If you wouldn't know about banned episodes, Ash got Tauros out of air suddenly. I feel like they could've better rewritten banned episodes or in the case of the one with the gun just cut that bit out, but it's probably too much effort to get back at those.

Back when it was 4Kids yeah some of the episodes did air in other countries. But 4Kids was definitely heavy on making things kids friendly and I guess for the Tauros episode it would be hard to replace a gun (though I guess they could have done a stick but the whole implication of potential violence? Not that other episodes would have then been worst in that regard....) thus why it didn't air in the US and whatever other countries used 4Kids.
