I don't care that much about shinies, I often tend to like the regular color scheme more than the shiny one. The only shiny I've found is a Cubone in Diamond, through chaining, but before I knew what chaining was. I was just looking for a thick club.

Legendary cats/beasts. In no way dogs.

I'll never understood why some people call them dogs. You have a lion, cheetah and a panther.
And while Entei looks a BIT like a dog, its a lion, more specifically, Chinese Guardian Lions.

I actually find Suicune the only canine one. I just refer to them as beasts, to prevent discussion.

I like the Lake Trio. Can we all appreciate the most awesome music in their caves though? I didnt wanna leave those places.

Lycan that is exactly how I found my shiny Vulpix in OrAs, I needed a Charcoal. XD

I don't avoid shinies, I like regular or shiny honestly. I had a game once whdre I caught a Chinchou and started training him, then found a ahiny one with a better ability, but the shiny went in the PC while I learned how tk trade over emu. GoodGuyCasualPlayer Of course it was the hack Dark Rising so I gave up soon after lol.

If I do find a shiny, I do at least attempt to catch it when possible.

Of course. They're still something special, but I just don't find it worth specially looking for them. It costs a lot of time and is pretty boring.

Why would you avoid shinies when you'll likely never really find out except out of pure chance if you don't actively look............. that doesn't make any sense haha.

I've looked for several shinies. Last two I hunted for were Vanilite and Munna which I both found within a day. vOv

I havent found a singly random wild shiny in 10 years I've been playing the games lol.

I've only ever found one shiny walking through the grass, and that was years ago. The only other shiny I've encountered is the Red Gyarados which doesn't really count. ;;

Again, all of my shinies were random just walking through grass. Not using repels usually might have something to do with it, though.

I found my last two via horde and friend safari repectively. Both being easier to find shinies from even without the shiny charm (which I don't have because I'mtoo lazy tocomplete the pokedex).

Of all the games that were mainly owned by me, Pearl, Platinum and Black 2 were the only ones I never caught a shiny.

Most other shinies were Red Gyarados or hack games and that's 75% post game Red Adventure or Dark Energy which have higher shiny rates.

ON ANOTHER NOTE I had a dream last night where I logged in here and got on Trivia but Squirrel was hacked or something and the hacker left a really rude message and I was so upset that I showed it to my sister and forgot about it for the rest of the dream. :T
