ah yes, back to school.
are you ready to go back or have you already started? are you looking forward to anything big this year? if you've already graduated what was your schooling experience like?
My life in school was pretty hectic. It's really made it harder for me to want to attend college as well. A lot of my teachers didn't seem to understand my struggles, even when it was right under their noses. :/ It's caused me to just hate school and not want to go through that stress all over again.
Graduating was probably the best thing that ever happened for me.
I'm a grandma and finished classes two years ago. But I almost miss it now because work isn't something you can have a few months-long break from. D': Save me.
edit: woops forgot. School was awful for me for the most part, I was quite picky with friends so I only befriended a select few people, two of which I still talk to. College was no different and I only made one proper friend that I speak with outside of class. haha. But again, that's out of my own choice and it's pretty hard to get into my "circle" so to speak since I don't really click with most people. Just how I am. =(
I'm going back the day before my birthday (so in about 2 weeks) and I'm dreading it. I'm looking forward to absolutely nothing this year, yet I'm dreading everything. I can't stand school and thinking about it makes me queasy so school supplies won't be bought for a good, long while...
I've been in school since July 27th; we don't normally go back that early here, but my district decided to switch to using a year-round schooling schedule as of this year and will be cutting our summer breaks shorter from now on. It isn't a huge deal since I'll be graduating next year, but I'm just not looking forward to the large workloads and constantly being tired every day after coming home. Also, dem SATs.
I saw the title and new exactly what this thread was about, haha.
I haven't been in school for about two years now, so it'll be the same old thing for me. I didn't really like school anyway, so I'll gladly take my job over that.
I don't go back until September 2. I've never had that bad of a time at school aside from just not wanting to be there -- I have a good network of friends and find it easy to float by with good grades without having to put in much effort. so I guess I'm lucky in that regard. PLUS, it's my senior year, which automatically makes things better I'd think?
I don't have to go back to college until september 21. Mostly because I passed all my classes and don't have to resit any exams, if I did I would've been studying for the past two weeks already. But now I've still got a month and about a week to go, whilst I already finished my exams two months ago. We really get ridiculously long holidays here.
Uni, it was a drag but my god those were three easygoing years of life for me in hindsight!
I was on a two week break from work, but that ends in about 34 hours. Kinda sad to be back into Full On Grind Mode but I guess I'll get into the swing of it soon enough.
I'm done with school, unless I decide I want to go back for whatever reason.
I'm glad my highschool (and earlier) years are done and gone forever, because those were all kind of "meh". I do miss college at times, though. Funny how I wanted to be done when I was taking classes, now that I'm out I actually miss them.
