O.o Anyway. Anybody used Dragalge now??, It's good or it still sucks?

I'mma remake one now, but no word on that yet. I have to level up its dex nav level to get the adaptability ones. I wonder what else is out now that wasn't before...

Still making a few new things in ORAS before that tho. Actually bothered to breed 2 Alomomola to play with that beast.

Can anyone suggest me a god move set for mega swampert?

copy-pasted from this thread
Spoiler:

Anyway, I'd appreciate if you ask this question on the proper thread next time, thanks!

dragalge is decent, adaptability lets it hit decently hard (it failed to 2hko mega sableye without any calm mind boosts) 8( idk about specs tho, calcs anyone?

252+ SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Sableye: 338-398 (111.1 - 130.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Dragalge Draco Meteor vs. +1 252 HP / 4 SpD Sableye: 226-266 (74.3 - 87.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

changed to 50/125/115 defences

it won't. or it shouldn't.

I have a feeling the Dark/Ghost weakness will be the gaping flaw that's resulting in you and Sri making this claim. I know that weakness was what knocked it out of OU back in X/Y so maybe that's what could make this Mega not so good in Ubers given the offensive presence of said moves.

its much more manageable as sri said.

not only is it weak to dark/ghost, which are common attacking types (see bisharp, gengar and mega sableye), it has a weakness to ground too (which is literally everywhere lol). plus it has 4mss imo. it would like to run meteor mash/zen headbutt/bullet punch/hammer arm/ice punch/grass knot all at once.

without grass knot = walled by bulky waters (mega gyarados got crunch in oras, so gg yea...)
without hammer arm = walled by skarm and ferro (hammer arm actually beats skarm because it slows megagross down. if skarmory roosts, gg; if it doesnt, it will eventually ko.)
without ice punch = you don't hit lando-t hard enough after intimidate.

what? soul dew test where? gg mega latias and latios.

its like specs and assault vest and you can still defog/roost without getting locked into a move lol. r they desperate to get latios/latias banned???

Well, with Fairy-types draining out most of the Dark-types and Pursuit users, Lati@s might be more prominent, but then again not as much considering most of their main special attacks had cuts in their power, and the Fairy-types can eat their Draco Meteors for breakfast.

But that said, Mega Metagross probably won't get the cut from OU, either. It's not helped that it's still relatively slow right after it Mega Evolves.

110 speed is by no means slow. in fact, 110 is a decent benchmark to hit in this speed creep meta. 110 is not extremely fast, nowhere as near as mega sceptile/drill (or zam/aero/man/lop) or even gren/talon, but with 110 you outspeed keldeo, terrakion, garchomp, lando-i and other slower stuff.

Wait why would Soul Dew be suspect tested? Soul Dew doesn't legally exist in Gen 6.

Also, why would Greninja get banned?

1. Soul Dew is available in the Souther Island event.

2. Greninja is being suspected because now that it gained Gunk Shot and Low Kick, it's even more difficult to check/counter.

Oh. I hadn't heard about that.

That I can see getting banned.

I guess it's suspect worthy....but I wouldn't say it's ban-worthy. Sure, Gunk Shot and Low Lick allow it to deal with some of it's usual checks/counters better, but it isn't exactly breaking walls with those base 95/103 offenses, and it's not bulky either. Chansey and Rotom-W can still come in and cripple it with Thunder Wave/Will-o-Wisp (they're only 3HKOd by the physical attacks). Scarf Terrakion/Lando/Garchomp/Diggersby all check it rather nicely. I think some Talonflame sets do too.
