What are some games which you'd like to see a remaster or remake of?

There are many games which people think deserve or need the remaster or remake treatment. Which game series from years past needs one or you feel should get one? I would totally be down for a Legend of Legaia 1 and 2 remake, same with Legend of Dragoon. So many RPGs/JRPGs I feel could use QoL improvements too if remade or remastered from the PS1-PS2 era.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I loved it on DS, and although the Switch remaster of the first 2 games was pretty good, Dual Strike added so much stuff that I'd love to see on newer consoles.

Don't read this Lav, it's a spoiler for one of the games I recommended you.
Sonic Chronicles for the DS, where they change it to not end on a damn cliffhanger! >_>
(though I'd also love a Zelda 1 & 2 remaster as well, that sounds awesome)

Please bamco just rerelease any old Tales game. It can even be Abyss. You don't even have to remaste stuff or remake it, just do the bare minimum to keep them accessible. :sadwick:

Maybe some of the older Fire Emblem games? Translated very few of them to English. Did a good job with Echoes. Admittedly felt a little lacking in terms of customization, relative to current Fire Emblem games. Appreciates not having to fiddle with base nonsense, though, and focus on the battles.

Is on the fence about Earthbound. Feels like a monkey paw wish. Ideally lowers the difficulty a little in some areas (pre-Paula areas, the Fourside Department store). Fixes inventory management. Adjusts the monkey caves to something less awful. Provides a little more direction in places (like in the Twoson area with the pencil eraser). Tweaks the PSI moves and Multi Bottle Rocket a little, perhaps.

Sees several potential pitfalls in an Earthbound remake. Worries about them fiddling with the graphics or making the script blander. Hm. Wonders if a remaster of Mother 1 would be better. Never really got into that. Could just need more polish. (Has not played it in ages. Forgets that game's issues.)

I'm among the many that want to see more of the older Final Fantasy titles get reworked. In particular though, IV and IX. Mostly because those are the ones that I think had really strong concepts and stories that were let down a little by the execution. So, even though I like other titles more, I think those are the ones that stand to improve the most with another go over to tighten up some of the writing.

Space Channel 5! I got the opportunity to play it this year and I think it's a really charming game that desperately needs to be modernized. The first game doesn't feel smooth to play and that's crippling when it's a rhythm game since those are based around proper button inputs and timing. Seeing the first and second games brought to modern consoles and including features from the second game into the first would make them a hit. I think Space Channel 5 is in a really unfortunate position, I loved both games when I played them but the first one especially is a frustrating one I would not recommend as it is right now.

I'm still holding onto hope that we're getting remasters of Metroid Prime 2 and 3, though I'm really unsure what that'll look like with Prime 4 (hopefully?) actually on its way out now, and a new Nintendo console somewhere on the horizon. They're surely not going to only release 1 and 4 on their newest console, right? Give it the Pikmin treatment!

It doesn't even have to be a remaster, but Dragon Quest 4 on the switch would be nice. It was an NES game too, so it doesn't make sense that 1-3 released and they decided to ignore 4.

Also I hope they don't pull that annoying sales tactic of pulling the original games away because a remastered trilogy will be coming out soon.

Well we totally need another version of Skyrim to tide us over till TES 6.

Speaking of TES though... why not an official remake or remaster for Morrowind (or Oblivion)?

Wouldn't mind seeing a C&C Renegade remaster or remake either.
Also Universe at War: Earth Assault. I played that game for quite a bit and am unsure if it's even still playable as it relied on that games for windows live stuff.
