As of now, I've been playing a lot of Tetris Forever compilation. Jumping from one game to another. If I feel like the need for a challenge, I do try Tetris Time Warp which is neat and a bit hard to master. I ought to get back into Pokemon Legends Arceus or Shining Pearl, but I also have Harvest Moon: Winds of Anthos in the console at the moment that I wanted to play.
Going back to Tetris Forever though: I had just recently finished Tetris 2 + BomBliss. I love BomBliss mode - or Blast as it's called in the states back in the 90s. Being able to build up lines to make more booms happen is so exciting. Before that was the SNES port: Super Tetris 2 + BomBliss and the Limited/Kattiban edition. It's odd to think I used to be more enthralled with the sequel with Sparkliss mode, but replaying the two Blast games that never came out in the states - I have changed my tune there and really enjoyed the BomBliss modes a whole lot more.
Super Tetris 3 was another game that also was Japan exclusive, but to me it was like Tetris Effects: Connected with the ranking system. If nothing else, that was what appealed to me with the game. I was so hooked on seeing the highest rank I could obtain in-game. I figured I had already maxed out my rank on TE:C so I wanted to try with ST3. Sparkliss is nothing compared to the explosive (heh heh) predecessor. I found it easier to understand as an adult compared to a young adolescent that was trying every game she could get the hands on. Once I understood that the sparks would go up and down compared to the Blasts from ST2+B being wider in radius, it wasn't as serotonin boosting as it used to be. It still had that charm, goodness knows! Just not as much as I had from years prior.
Already on save file numero tres - which meant that I had lost access to the Shiny Hisuian Zorua mask. I did weight the pros and cons prior to deleting each save and transferred the mons out of there while I can. Most of them were transferred to other games to be used as Grit fodder, while others were wonder traded via home for others to have or trade again. Shining Pearl was already well completed. I still needed to level up some mons and train them as well as getting some more money for PokeBalls to catch Zapdos and whatever other legendaries I have yet to catch. I do have Brilliant Diamond and that was on my personal backlist as well. I want to say I'm at gym 5 or in the process of that gym if not training for Maylene. I say that because I knew I was far enough to get access to the Metronome Shop in Veilstone City. I love the Generation 4 Re(masters) despite their flaws and their true to the source to a fault stance. If nothing else, I'm super close to completing my Sinnoh Dex on Home as well as the Kanto Dex.
Then again, Let's Go Eevee is rapidly approaching the access to Cinnabar Island and getting the other fossil revived to finish the Kanto Dex on Home... Oooff. Can't really decide what Pokemon to pick up anymore...
