What are you currently studying? Whether that be in high school, college/university or a course on the side, what are thee things you're learning on a daily basis? Do you enjoy what you're learning? Is what you're doing now leading you into your ultimate career path? Discuss!

I'm currently studying at university doing a Bachelor of Education (Primary School). This is definitely leading to a possible career, I love working with children and being a teacher has been a dream of mine for years. I'm a little over half-way through my degree, I'd be a lot closer to finishing but I've been stuffed around a lot by my university. I don't really enjoy the studying, but it is something I have to do to reach my goals.

I'm also soon to begin my next qualification as a ballroom coach. Dance is something else I'm really passionate about and I really love to coach and choreograph, it's something else I'm looking at as a career. It will be a long road to getting this qualification fully done since there is a separate qualification for each of the three styles of ballroom.

I'm a sophomore working on my professional pilot degree, I have my private rating now, working on my instrument. I mean, I'm flying airplanes for a grade, come on.

I'm going to college for a Bachelors in Digital Media (Radio, TV, Film). I ultimately want to work on TV shows and movies behind the scenes, whether it be editing or stuff with sets. I enjoy what I am studying a lot and graduate in May. Hopefully I can get a job in this field right away!

If it counts... I've been studying somewhat on drawing and writing. I'm a self-educated writer, so I learn based on research online and input from others who read my stories. I also have a senpai who inspires me with my drawing, and I'm always trying to improve more and more each day just to please him. I do hope I can become a successful writer someday, but I still first have to learn to actually finish my stories before I think of publishing them. ><

I do enjoy learning because it gives me a sense of pride. Like, knowing that I'm actually smarter than I think, you know?

I'm not in high school, but currently I'm studying Ihop's menu. I just got a job at an ihop near me as a server, so I gotta know and memorize that menu! I'm also studying how to be a good server, and up-selling techniques.

Currently in Liberal Arts. After graduating from community college, it's off to Computer Science to complete my Bachelor's.

I'm majoring in English and my advisor has projected that i'll graduate in December of this year. I'm taking a few courses, like acting, British literature, and an ECG course, along with one that has us submitting reviews to the college paper's editors.

I'm trying to self learn how to write macros in excel. My ultimate goal is to be able to convert data collected on site into a report on the click of a button. A colleague of mine wrote a macro that created a word document, so I know it's possible but I have never written a macro in my life, so it should be interesting.

I'm (somehow) in my second year of a honours Bachelor's degree, studying Software Development. I loved it in first year but last term was a complete nightmare, partially due to me missing a few weeks due to personal reasons. At the moment, there's a big shift from working in C++ code to C#, so I've slowly been adjusting to that. I've also hit the books to try and understand data structures more (stuff like unsorted/sorted lists, binary trees, that kinda thing) since I spectacularly failed my mid-term exam in that module. Again, it hasn't been easy, but I'm really starting to commit more and more to my studies. All going well, I'll hopefully land myself a stable, well-paying job if I get my qualification at the end of the course.

All of you people studying in computer science, yet y'all never really post in Computers & Technology. :P

I'm studying computer programming right now, as a sophomore at community college. I'm looking forward to taking more computer-related classes for sure, although I certainly wish I had more ambition to get to know programming while I was younger.

I'm currently a part-time student at a community college, but I've been part-time there for three years now (I'm a sophomore, based on the number of credits I've earned) and my plan is to transfer to a four-year university this Fall and go full-time. Last quarter I took Writing and Sociology, and this quarter I'm taking African-American Literature. I keep going back and forth on what I actually want to study, but I've most recently been leaning towards English. I also want to learn more about the film and television industries (on the production side), so that might be a good minor for me after I transfer.

I just picked up an acoustic guitar a few days ago, and I'm still doing some finger exercising. I am also learning some tabs and chords.

I am also reviewing some subjects (particularly algebra) on Khan Academy to prepare myself for my first semester of community college.

I wanted to study nursing this year, but I'm not sure if it's an option now (sigh). But, I have come across interest in psychology. So I might consider a course online when I can afford it. So I'll just study it on the side I guess for now. It's not hard to find some books on it anyways. I also enjoy European history regardless if I'm studying it or not in school.

I'm majoring in Computer Science and minoring in East Asian studies. It's taking me forever because I can only take a few courses at a time, but I'm... getting there... :/ This term I'm taking Operating Systems (which is really fun so far but some of the stuff we're supposed to do by the end makes me go "wait, real people can do this??" lol) and a discussion course on Contemporary Politics in Japanese Society, which is more interesting than it sounds, I promise.

On my own I study Japanese, but I've gotten pretty lazy with that lately and haven't touched my kanji review or brushed up on grammar lately. Most of my "studying" is just playing games in Japanese, but I guess it's better than nothing, lol.

I have no idea what I wanna do later in life. Preferably localize/translate games, which I guess my education could be aiming towards, but that's easier said than done and I don't think it's a very realistic goal so I'll probably just end up in some bland programming job and hate my life. We'll see.

Maybe we all just like the math aspect and think computers themselves are a real hassle. :P

Political Philosophy, Race/Ethnicity Politics, and American Politics are my main areas of study.

I am so relieved I am done with my advanced quantitative and computer programming PhD requirements. I thought I was going to fail them, despite hours upon hours of working and pulling 3 or 4 all-nighters a week, but I did really well. I may have been losing my mind the last few weeks though!

Honestly, can't wait to be done with school, move to nice suburban area, have more free time, enjoy teaching, and do the whole family thang. Right now, I have none of those :(
