TV What are you currently watching?

The original The Twilight Zone. I have always been a fan of this classic series, and rember tuning into reruns of it on the Syfy channel and keeping a lookout for Twilight Zone episode marathons around the holidays. I decided to buy the entire collection when I found a good deal on it at eBay, and have been enjoying these episodes since Thanksgiving. It's good to see them uncut, commercial free, and in the chronology they were originally aired in. While I have seen a lot of Twilight Zones before, there were also quite a few that I had never seen before, so that's cool.

The first three seasons are mostly excellent with a lot of classic episodes, and I have just started season 4, and so far it's also off to a great start with the episode In His Image. I think The Twilight Zone made the transition from a half and hour format to a full hour fairly well. A lot off my favorite episodes are coming up this season with The Miniature and Death Ship. I don't think The original Twilight Zone has any season that's bad.

Absolutely smashing through a rewatch of The Expanse so I'll be caught up by the finale (at my current rate well-ahead). Must be my 4th or 5th time through the Syfy seasons. Sadly Amazon hasn't released the later seasons on DVD in my region (Europe, hardly a backwater) so once I unsubscribe from Prime for the last time after the finale, I'll have to resort to less-legitimate methods.

Still, outstanding show. Episodes usually leave you wanting more (sometimes as proper cliffhangers) but it doesn't feel cheap the way it sometimes can. SFX (for a non-streaming TV budget initially) are great, acting is great, dialogue, plot are excellent, one of the most lived-in sci-fi settings I've been exposed to since the original Star Wars, but a lot more credible. Unlike GoT they're actually ending the series with 3 books yet to be adapted, so I can hope for more in the future!

EDIT: No real famous faces either - apparently Thomas Jane had a career, but most of the main cast were / are relative unknowns. So I was quite surprised to see Shang-Chi in one episode!

Been watching this silly show called Good Witch.

I've been rewatching both Buffy and Angel alongside each-other chronologically because I'm a massive nerd.
(on disney plus)
I guess I will eventually start hawkeye too soon even tho I have low expectations for it!
omg?? do you have an episode guide to link me for the chronological order of eps? :3

We just finished Foundation. I've heard that it's very different from the source material but as I haven't read that, I'm just judging it for what it is. And it was pretty cool. I can see how it inspired much of Star Wars.

Finished season 1 of Lucifer, about to start season 2, and I think I'm also going to start re-watching The Vampire Diaries
