I really love the soft tone of this song; it's extremely pleasing to the ears. No matter how many times I listen, this never seems to get boring. :]

A cover of the Danzig song 'Mother'. Usually I don't very much like covers, but this one is actually pretty good. Regardless, this is a great song, with a lovely dark atmosphere.

One Republic- Counting Stars

Borrowed their album Native from the library and now just popped it in the computer to give it a listen. I forever will love this song I think. :)
 
Prayer Of The Refugee - Rise Against

This song tells such a great story. I listen to this song a lot, because it means a lot to me. My family never went through a period in time when they needed financial help (as far as I know...), however it does talk about not wanting the help you need, and that describes me. I hate asking for help, no matter how much I need it.
 
Chet Faker - Talk Is Cheap

An Aussie hip-hop singer who's already collaborated with Flume, but he's now got some great solo stuff of his own. Love the chill factor in this song, he's definitely worth checking out.

not the best song lyrics, but i love the beat and its a great tune to chill out too!
 
The Things We Lost In The Fire - Bastille

I'm in love with this song. I like a lot of songs, but only a few ignite some kind of spark the first time I listen to them. This one, of course, ignited a spark. I feel related to the song, not to the lyrics, but to the music. A weird concept, one I can't quite yet grab nor understand, but that's the way I feel with this song.
