    I work part time at a local Dunkin Donuts and I always get ticked off when a customer tells me "Gimme [insert menu item]." At first it didn't bother me but now just everytime someone says it I feel like they don't have any manners.

    I also can't stand cheating. Not video game wise (that's pretty fun) but in relationships. I had a really good friend I liked who was cheated on numerous times and I always had to comfort and console her (she's still with him by the way); just aggravates me that in all honestly, nice guys finish last.

    Oh god. I have so many of these lmao that I could go on for hours. My biggest one though is when someone tries to dominate a conversation by talking about themselves non stop. It just irks me so bad :<

    I'm totally with you here!! Also when there is an argument and someone doesn't bother listening to the other person by yelling and repeating something over and over "No, nope, don't care" etc.

    I have too many to list though.... the thing that really bothers me is when people decide stuff without think first.

    Cigarettes. Teeth grinding metal. Squeaky Mechanical Pencils. So many more, but I'm about to leave and these are the main ones!

    Lack of accessibility in modern software. It is literally the one thing separating many people with disabilities from being able to do certain tasks and it is in most cases obscenely simple to implement as long as you are willing to do a little more work. When you develop games for the blind and know 20+ blind people, you know how much of a problem this is and how absolutely IRRITATING it is when people brush it off.

    When my suite mates are playing loud music past midnight. They're not even supposed to be doing that, because the dorms have quiet hours by then (and even earlier on Sunday-Thursday). My college does a terrible job at enforcing them!

    Hmmm I have a lot ]:

    This bugs me too. Anyone in an argument who tries to end it by just pushing the other person away just shows a lack of intelligence and respect. Blahh. Also people who participate in an argument thinking their opinion is the only opinion and making the other person feel stupid or ignorant for their point of view. In fact, anyone who belittles anyone is a huge pet peeve of mine...
    My biggest one is when people touch my stuff with me knowing.
    For me, it's if people touch my stuff without asking, period. I hate it when people just take my phone, my camera, my 3DS, my clothes, my anything, I hate it. It makes me cringe. For this reason I've always been extremely cautious of touching other people's things, like one time I remember I showed up at a yoga class and someone's clothes were just there in a pile where I usually sit, and I just stood there and eventually tried to sit beside it. The teacher asked why I didn't just pick it up and toss it somewhere else, and I didn't really have an answer. Just makes me uncomfortable .-.

    Here's a few others I have...
    -When people look over your shoulder while you're playing a game, watching something privately, scrolling through a website... especially when they keep asking you to scroll back up/rewind because they missed something. Like wat. This is my tech time. ;-;
    -When parents refuse to listen to anything their children have to say because they're "just kids". Even when their children become adults.
    -Nitpicking. When you're just talking and then someone interrupts you to make a tiny irrelevant correction, or online when people respond to someone just to correct a small grammar mistake or something. It's like they think it'll make them look smarter or something... blah, just bothers me a lot.
    -When people try to boss me around or treat me like a small child.
    -When I ask a computer question and people say "Well your problem is that you have a mac." It was funny the first few times, now it's just unoriginal and annoying. In fact anyone who tries to help by ignoring the question and criticizing their original decision, like if someone asks "What moveset should I have on my in-game Quagsire?" and someone responds "Bibarel sucks, use Azumarill instead" or if someone asks about a problem they're experiencing on Opera, and someone just tells them Opera sucks and to switch to Chrome. >.<

    I'm going to stop there haha. I usually have a lot of patience but some things just....... blahhh.

    One of the things that irks me is when people have no respect or even disrespect organized institutions. Since I work every day in an Army ROTC environment and know how everything works down to each hair, and it bugs the hell out of me when people don't give the consideration and dedication it takes to do it justice. For example, (since I'm a squad leader) it bothers me when people don't report for attendance in the muster formation like they should. They say something along the lines of "All present" or "Snuffy absent" whereas I would say "Sergeant second squad all present" or "Sergeant Cadet Snuffy absent". Not to mention so many people in our huge program (that's twice the size of our Uni's college ROTC program) have an incredibly lousy salute. They'll just wave their hand up lazily with fingers curved or apart, or worse, they'll bend their fingers backward like a moron who hasn't been in our first-year class (my platoon sergeant does this). Ironically civilians that do this stuff make me laugh rather than bother me, because I know they're so wrong it's funny. :P

    Other things that bother me besides in the Army would be dumb arguing, like others have mentioned. I have extensive experience with this as my father liked to belittle me and pick me apart because he could, and he'd look for any excuse to do so. I stopped arguing with him long before I left his ass.

    There's actually quite a number of pet peeves that I have, but there's never been a situation where I've absolutely lost it with someone because of them.

    - Loud chewing with their mouths open.
    - People taking things without my permission and not telling me before I find out.
    - Drivers who tailgate way too closely when I'm already going at the highest possible legal limit.
    - Drivers who blast their music thinking it's cool. It's not.
    - Knees! When people are impatient in waiting and are shaking them.
    - When people mix up the correct use of "much" and "many."

    Repetition is my big one. I can't stand hearing or seeing or doing the same thing so many times close together, so when my housemate gets obsessed with a song and wants to lay it constantly it makes me hate it.

    It annoyed me the most when I liked Katy Perry's Dark Horse first and he didn't like it, then when he found a no rap edit he fell in love with it, played it constantly and now I can't stand it.

    -People using the opinion card
    -People criticizing someone for their looks, mannerisms and their choices.
    -When you come across a Pokemon you want and you have no Pokeballs.

    People staring at my phone or a book I'm reading, either over my shoulder or in front of me, trying to read from it. It really bothers and angers me.

    The speed limit on my street is 30, and sometimes people are going much faster than that. The speeding can get worse at night, where it seems like vehicles are going 50 or 60 mph. That's really annoying.

    Another thing is when I'm browsing the internet, an opinion survey pops up out of nowhere. No, I don't want to answer your dumb survey!

    This! I hate when teachers do this over my shoulder and creep on how I'm doing my work. Puts unnecessary pressure on me to either ask them a question or actually do it right >< There's a difference between occasionally checking on my progress, which I'm completely fine with, but it's another when they constantly hover over you while you work >>;;

    Exactly! Some teachers do this during exams and is extremely frustrating. Grading your job before you finish, putting unnecessary pressure on you and making you uncomfortable. It's extremely unconsiderate from them ><

    Oh dear. I've never had teachers do this during exams or else I'd be a nervous wreck D: Back in university, they would only be there if students had questions otherwise they don't do much; same applies to my college right now.

    Another extreme pet peeve of mine is when people start talking over me and then later on ask a question regarding what I was talking about. You know, if you listened at the beginning you wouldn't have that question >>;;
