What pissed you off today?

I had a realistic dream that could happen but then I woke up.

God was I angy.

It was raining pretty hard when I had to go to class. My laptop sleeve bounced off the passengers seat and fell on the wet ground. My laptop was fine, but I still had to pick it up. (It doesn't have handles or anything, so I have to hold the wet part) Even with an umbrella and rain jacket, I still got pretty wet. I was on the verge of tears and just sat in my car hyperventilating for a few minutes before turning it on.

Necessary context: I HATE getting rained on. I think it's a sensory issue? (That's the best way I can think to describe it) I don't like the feeling of rain on my skin or damp clothes.

Some dumb driver who thinks he's entitled to go 20 miles over the speed limit decided to cut me off today. :)

Picture this: So you're just trying to get through the checkout line, no drama. But nope, there's this old lady in front of you, taking her sweet time. >__<

Suddenly, she decides she has to find this coupon for—get this—10 cents off. (ㆆ ᴗ ㆆ) She's digging through her bottomless purse like she's searching for buried treasure, pulling out crumpled tissues, random junk, and wasting everyone's time. -____-

It gets better: bfter what feels like forever, she finds the damn thing, and it's expired. She ends up paying full price anyway, and you're standing there wondering wwwwwwhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy??!?!!

This happened today.

(┛ಠДಠ)┛彡┻━┻

Walmart was way over crowded today ;_; And everyone stank?

Mindless nutters driving through a red light the second or two after it changed to red, even in a country as proper and well-behaved as Japan!! I seen it happen almost every day this week, tonight included. People break the law here too, you know.

My laptop randomly restarting and updating on me with absolutely NO WARNING. >_>

I'm in the middle of a class zoom meeting and these people in the computer lab WON'T STOP TALKING. I thought this would be a good, quiet place to do the meeting since there's hardly anyone in here, but apparently I was mistaken. I don't understand why people talk so loudly in libraries and study spaces and such. Of course there's nothing wrong with talking, but you should be aware that there are OTHER PEOPLE trying to work and keep the volume down. SHUT THE FUCK UP!!

Ugh. Just read an article that used the word 'franchise' no less than 12 times. I hate that word when it's so overdone and is only included to tick the boxes of what's acceptable in journalism today, and they have to include such buzzwords otherwise they won't get paid. It's annoying. Stop dragging our English language to the dirt.

Another one. People who spit in public are utter BASTARDS and other bad words that I'd get banned for saying on here. You know the sound: HOOOOCK PTOOO. I'm prepared to move my bed to the living room in my apartment as I sleep too close to the window overlooking the balcony to hear those unhygenic no-hopers.

Spending around 10 minutes typing something, then misclick, everything erased and lost. Let's start again!

I know that feeling way too well... >_> Sorry for the loss of your time, but even more so for the headache having to retype it probably caused.
Edit: typo

Grades close tomorrow at 9 AM for the end of the semester, and one of my grades is 2 points away from passing. I have emailed the professor 3 times since Wednesday when she sent me a breakdown of my grade, and have yet to get a response from her. I replied directly to the email she sent me each time- first on Wednesday: "that's unfortunate, thanks for letting me know though", then Thursday: "is there anything I can do to raise the grade or is it finalized?", then earlier today: "hey I submitted a few assignments, not sure if you'll accept them but I really need to bump up the grade so I don't have to retake it in the spring" (these are all paraphrased ofc)

And yeah, I understand it's really sleazy to be submitting months-late assignments and begging for points at the end of the semester, but she could have AT LEAST responded to one of my THREE emails?! I would rather her reply saying something extremely rude like "no you fucking moron, I'm not changing your damn grade, cry about it" than radio silence after multiple emails.

Anyway grades close at 9 AM tomorrow, and at this rate, I'm not passing this class. I have to take the whole course again because I was 2 points short. I'm supposed to be graduating this coming spring, but because I have to retake this class, it pushes back the schedule another semester because it's a sequential class (it's CourseName 3 out of 5 + the senior seminar). The other concern with pushing back the graduation date another semester is that the lease on my apartment ends in August, and I don't think there's any way I'd be able to renew the lease for only a semester.

So apparently, on top of being banished to production hell for 5+ months, having the original production company go defunct, and FINALLY getting the final two episodes of a series that debuted back in SPRING...

Today I found out that there will be NO Blu-ray release for the "Whisper Me A Love Song" anime. And no Japanese physical release means no international physical releases either. This is one show I'd gladly purchase on physical media.

This was one of my most anticipated anime of 2024, and while I'm grateful they finally gave it the ending they planned, its release was plagued every step of the way. And to find out that streaming (or pirating) is the only way to watch it going forward, I just can't...

Yori and Himari didn't deserve this awful treatment...

This being the first full week of work post-holiday, and not believing I have to do this song and dance for yet another year.
