Torchic!

It was my first starter that I used back when I played Ruby the first time through, so I think I'll use it again this time. ;w;
 
Mudkip. I still have my Sceptile from Ruby and the event Torchic (which is now a Combusken), so Mudkip it is.
 
Im getting both versions as soon as I can preorder and will go with treecko AND mudkip! Treecko first! :)
 
Both games (and all future games I purchase) I will choose Mudkip - I never liked the other two
 
Treecko all the way because my team is already planned. I really hope Kalos Pokemon aren't included because they'll ruin the vibe of the games for me.
 
This will be a tough one. My favorite is Mudkip, but also love Torchic.
In Emerald(my first 3rd gen) I chose Mudkip, Torchic in Ruby and Treeko in Sapphire (originally wanted Mudkip and Treeko reversed for the whole color matching deal, but since the first one I got was Emerald that got turned around :P )
They are all fully evolved and will be on my "main pokedex" in XY boxes. I don't like having multiple of the same evolution (problem in X if I ever get Leafgreen, have a Venusaur in X now and may have to keep my Bulbasaur a Ivysaur -_-; ), but I'm just sentimental to my Team Pokemon and too orderly. :P lol Probably 'Kip in Sapphire and 'Chic in Ruby, most likely, kept at 2nt stages and use their mega stones(IF Mudkip gets one) on my original fully evolved ones from original Hoenn. <3 :)
 
I picked Mudkip in the original 3rd Gen games so to stay true to that very first playthrough and because he's my fave of the Hoenn starters. If I get one that's female, it'll be even more of a throwback to my original Ruby team.
 
I think il go with mudkip, at least for my first go. I remember choosing torchic back when I first got my sapphire, so it will probably be my second choice.

That is if they are the starters :P

Joining the Treecko boat.

Sceptile is just the coolest and I've been itching to use him again. Might soft reset for a shiny but chances are slim to none there, especially since I'd want to get starting on playing as soon as possible. Swampert and Blaziken don't really appeal to me much. ]:
 
Mudkip! I've gone with water starters for years (at least on my "main" game of any pair/generation), and I don't think this will be any different. I also happen to like Mudkip a lot better than the other Hoenn starters, so even without my water starter trend, I'd be leaning that way.

I'm not sure if I'll use Mudkip in both versions, or just in Sapphire (which will probably be my main game). I have a feeling I'll probably go for Mudkip in both games.
 
I'd be taking Mudkip, as he is my favourite. Yes, Mega Blaziken is still a total possibility, but since they revealed Mega Swampert... well, you can never say no.
 
Mudkip 100%, you can't go wrong with a ground/water Pokemon in Swampert.
