Which Pokémon should be added to the roster?

    Which Pokémon do you think should be added to the roster? Either one that you really really love or one that you think deserves to be?

    Top of my list ticks both boxes - Heracross! My favourite Pokémon but I also think it'd be an awesome fit with the game seeing as how it's Fighting-type and I can just imagine the range of moves it could have using it's arms, legs and horn!

    Zoroark could be a great addition, although it seems kind of redundant what with Weavile and Lucario. Still though! Its Illusion ability could make for some interesting maneuvers.

    A serpentlike Pokemon would make for an unexpected addition as well. Since Pokken Tournament seems to have a habit of adding weird and unexpected Pokemon, why not Dragonair over Dragonite? It could hover with its wing ears and shoot energy bursts from its gems. Also, as a snake, it would also be able to wrap itself around the opponent. It would be very fast and agile.

    Also, more Electric-types would be neat! Why not Ampharos too? It has a Mega and I could totally see it fitting into the roster. A fully evolved Electric-type would be a nice addition.

    For a bulkier alternative, Chesnaught would be pretty great too. Not just as a Fighting-type, but because its Spiky Shield lends itself to interesting and unique strategies I could see being implemented into the game.

    Oh and we need a Fairy-type too! More quadrupeds as well... I think Sylveon would be a great choice too. As representative Eeveelution in the game. Like Suicune, it has strange ribbonlike protrusions that could lend itself to fighting in this sort of game. I could see it as being a very stunning Pokemon. As in, it uses its ribbons to grab and stun you with its affection for a bit.

    I know some of these are probably assists, but they would still be interesting choices to consider.
     
    There should be some sort of baby cup or UU roster of Pokkens for the more casual players to have fun with. It would be kinda cute, haha.

    I like your thinking! There are so many cool possibilities hopefully they'll keep adding to the game over time!

    Ah Baby Cup would be so cute! Plus they would get to shine as proper fighters!
     
    Pachirisu - Heavy attacks, quick but slow when using the tail. I can see most people saying that she would just be a clone of Pikachu, but I doubt it at this point. There's no reason for her to be a clone anyways.


    Riolu - A clone that I wouldn't mind.

    Throh and the taller blue one - They're just FIT for Pokken. Come on now. They look like kung fu masters.


    Meloetta - Short and tough.


    Emolga - Best when in the air. Could probably be like an adorable answer to Goku.


    Minun/Plusle - Tag team partners

    As I don't care much about Pokken and I think of it in a bad way, I wish at least one of these guys (especially pachirisu) get in the game.

    I've seen a MUGEN character that would be a good base for them. They were Yun and Yang from Street Fighter and further researces, they've always been separate slots but the guy who made the character made them a tag team meaning that they each separately switch together in one battle. Pressing a button would switch them. One will be in a crouching position who is out and the other will be in a fighting position who is in. They each share the health bar and they do not feel much like Ice Climbers which in my opinion is bad for a Tekken game.

    The player starts out with Minun (And by player's choice, Plusle) and every time Minun switches out, she will be in the middle of the battle field doing her cheers for Plusle and when Plusle is switched out, she will do the same as Minun and so on and so on. They both have their own attributes and specials.

    Aegislash would be cool, being able to switch from slow and supportive to quick and offensive.

    Heliolisk would also be cool, sort of like pikachu but better melee range and slightly higher speed in exchange for less ranged power.

    Acheops might work, mostly staying on the ground but able to glide for a while and hit with rocks from higher up.

    While they definitely shouldn't do this, wobbuffet would be funny as a joke fighter with only counter moves.
     
    It bothers me that Swampert wasn't added with Sceptile and Blaziken. I think he would be a good fighter.

    Darkrai would be cool, as well as the obvious Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan... even Hitmontop. Seriously, how weren't they put in this type of game!? Haha.
     
    Gen V love? Bisharp and Excadrill, please! :) Maybe Lilligant, too, to give those who identify with feminine Pokémon but can't stand Gardevoir something other than a sassy fox witch ;) (Not saying I don't like her!)
     
    There's soo many that could be added (and I'd like to see added). I'm not that big of fan of most of them that were put on the game (Suicune is my favorite).
    I was disappointed that there are a lot of support pokemon to unlock, but not actual ones to battle with (should unlock more by winning tournaments).

    - Entei/Raikou to go with Suicune
    - Blastoise/Venusaur to go with Charizard
    - Arcainine & Pyroar
    - Meinshao
    - Scyther
    - Sandslash
    - Typhlosion
    - Tyranitar
    - Haxorus
    - Aggron
    - Pangoro
    - Tropius
    - Luxray
    - Arceus
    - Absol
    - Serperior

    Are all Pokemon I'd like to see added (or at least some of them).
     
    I would really like to see Scizor or Chansey added, but especially Chansey.

    Chansey could have an insane amount of health and the ability to heal itself, making it a formidable opponent. Plus, she's one of the more popular and recognizable Pokemon!

    Also, does anyone know why Swampert isn't part of the roster? Being my favorite of the Hoenn starters, I was disappointed to find Blaziken and Sceptile, but no Swampert...

    She could possess a similar super burst attack to smash bros perhaps?
