I don't watch LPs as much as I used to. ;-; UberHaxorNova used to be one of my favorite LPers but he hardly makes videos I enjoy nowadays (last.. what, two years?). He's mostly a multiplayer guy now which I'm not really into (I prefer solo LPs rather than with LPers I hardly know/am interested in). Luckily he's going through Sims 4 lately so hopefully that series lasts more than 5-10 episodes. :D;

other than that I like SSoHPKC. not much else nowadays. NCS is also a really cool guy but I've never seen many of his videos. hrm I guess I should check that out.

The Great Ace Attorney website opened, with info on the characters. Yes, that is an 8 year old Watson, and yes the game is in London.
Ryuunosuke Naruhodou: The protagonist of the game. A student at one of Japan's imperial universities in the capitol, a certain case pushed him to become an attorney. In order to learn the ways of the new justice system, he takes his burning sense of justice in hand and transfers to England.

Susato Mikotoba: A young woman who works as a legal assistant supporting Ryuunosuke due to 'certain circumstances'. A progressive, foreign-mystery loving Yamato Nadeshiko.

Sherlock Holmes: The world's most famous detective. Though his skills of observation and deduction are incredible, he occasionally goes too far into the realm of speculation - a veritable "Reasoning Rampage". The meeting between this great detective and that rookie attorney will bring a grand turnabout down on England's courts.

Iris Watson: A young girl living with Holmes. Although she's only 8 years old, she holds a medical degree and is the author of the extremely popular novel series "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes." Some say her skills of deduction surpass even Holmes'...

Surely you mean America, right? ;p

Sounds like standard wacky Ace Attorney though! 8 year old PhDs and medical experts? In the 19th century. Yeah okay.

Jak and I are big fans of NCS. We spent hours together on Skype watching his LPs and giggling as we quoted him. He's got a lot of catchphrases and he's actually a great guy (really humble and nice), so I like giving him shoutouts when I can. :)
I never really got into NCS. He seems like a nice guy from what I've seen of him, but I find him kind of dull to listen to, and his toilet humor is a big turnoff with the belching and farting all the time.

I mostly only follow LPs if it's a game I'm interested in - I really like Chugga, StephenPlays, and JoshJepson (though he's taking his channel in a different direction so we'll see how I feel about him after that), and there are a couple other YouTubers that I check on periodically for new stuff.

I don't care for the burps/farts either. I really enjoy listening to his vlogs on his BreakingNCS channel, but I haven't been watching any of his LPs lately. Sometimes he is boring, but he is at his best when he is just speaking like a friend. I wish all of his old vlogs were still available and that he vlogged MORE, because he is such a genuine and nice guy that you love hearing him talk.

When I watch LPs, it has everything to do with the personalities and almost nothing to do with the games they play. I mean, I will watch my favourites play even the crappiest of games--stuff you'd never catch me playing in a million years. To me, it's not that different to sitting around watching a roommate or family member play something on the TV. Especially if they're a charismatic LPer, they can make you feel like you're sitting right there with them. Plus, if I watch LPs, I usually just have them on in the background while I multitask and I'm listening more than I'm watching, so it doesn't matter much what they're playing.

The only stuff I keep up with lately, though, is Achievement Hunter, NerdCubed (sometimes), and EthosLab (don't judge me for the minecraft... it's super relaxing to wind down with before bed lmao). I wish I had more time to keep up with all the LPers I used to watch, but I can't even keep keep up with this list of 2 on a weekly basis, nevermind throwing anyone else into the mix.

"Elementary school, my dear Watson, where you should be."

^ I don't remember where I saw that quote so I don't want to take credit for it but I'm still laughing over it.

NCS is my favorite, toilet humor and all. I also like Chugga but at the same time I don't. He's detail oriented which is nice, but it just kind of gets in the way for me. And I cannot stand his Pokemon LPs. I love Slowflake's Pokemon LPs though. We have the same play style. He's also detail oriented, but in a way that I find much more enjoyable. Chugga makes me feel like I'm in a lecture hall sometimes.

Sadly, Slowflake's stopped LPing in the middle of his White 2 LP. He just wasn't enjoying it anymore.

Some of you might know this if you had clicked on my profile, but my real life name is Rex. It's the name I've used my entire life. And so, some of my early usernames were based on this. RexOdd and Rexzilla were the most used ones before I came up with ZombeeMoose, and later NecrumWarrior. Rexzilla has a special place in my heart, because I also happen to be a huge fan of the Godzilla franchise, and have been almost as long as I've been called Rex.

Skip to today. I check out a site called ShinyLoot. I was there looking at Roguelikes, because they were advertised on the forum RogueBasin. So I clicked off Roguelikes to see what other games there are, and turned on SciFi because wynaut, and I find this monstrosity:

I CANNOT believe this exists. I am filled with conflicting emotions over this being a game. On the one hand, this looks really cute. On the other, they stole my name! D:<

More on topic, I watch GameGrumps and Yogscast let's plays mostly, but I also like watching Markiplier.

I did end up watching an LP last night. A friend from work wanted me to watch Markiplier play Five Nights at Freddy's

So, first LP thing I ever really sat down and watched and payed attention to. And... ruins the game. 100%. An atmospheric horror game with jump scares is not at all scary to watch when someone is very loudly freaking out the whole time.

A lot of the time it felt like he was overacting. Other times though he seemed legitimately scared. So, I think I'm going to continue with that series just to see if he suffers a heart attack at some point.

I just discovered that in Borderlands 2, there's a Challenge for completing Challenges, and surprisingly they didn't call it "Challenge-ception", which I am proud of them for. But they did call it "Yo Dawg I Herd You Like Challenges." Yep, that's me alright, this game really knows me. :P

Now I need to play it too. That's just calling for me haha.

The Matter of Backup and Archive of 3ds

I have a question about nintendo New 3DS Which will be released in October. Is Gateway 3ds possible to support New 3DS? Now Gateway 3ds can run on the 3ds console with v4.1-4.5.And New 3DS said it will come out with a new sysytem.

Then is there possible for gateway to support the New 3DS?

My console is genuine version, and the current system seems to be 8.1.0 and the games were downloaded but not cassette games. Now the system comes with archive and backup functions.I can find out the backuped filed from my computer. After a period of time,Whether would something go wrong way if I copy the file in my computor to sd card?As I have heard sd card have a file checksum function:If there is a little bit in wrong format,The information would be deleted.

Another question,Could you exchang the archives between different 3ds?For example,Copy the archives from one 3ds to another.

That's a flash cart, right? Chances are, no flash carts will work with the new 3DS, as they will have new firmware and hardware. The flash cart will have to be updated when they crack the new system. But, new 3DS won't be outside of Japan til next year, so really it doesn't matter much til then.

What is this Game Called?

Ok, there was this PS1 game my sister used to own. I was going to buy it but I can't remember very much about the game or what it was called. All I know is you're the bad guy in the game. You're some type of female zombie/demon creature. You live in this mansion and work under this other creature guy who's basically your master. He gives you missions of attracting humans to the mansion and luring them into different traps set up inside the building to kill them. And there's a certain way you gotta get the humans to walk into the traps that kill them. If the human sees you or catches you then you get killed and have to restart the mission. But I don't know what this game is called. Anyone know?

I don't know what I'mma do about that new 3DS. I mean, I still have plenty of time to save up but I don't think I'll actually go out of my way to buy it until something is exclusive for it. I'm gonna hold out as long as I can though. I just bought my XL about a year ago...I feel silly for that now lol. :( I totally could have survived on my normal one. ...Then again, once you go XL, you never go back.

It would be pretty amazing if they made the new 3DS capable of becoming a Wii U controller, or connect to the Wii U some how. Like the game pad. I see your tricks Nintendo. I'm watching yah.
