What's the most expensive thing you own?

Mine was my car, until it got hit. It was about 8K. Now I'm waiting on my car insurance to release funds for me to get a new car, so my laptop is my most expensive possession. It was about 2.5K upon purchase.

I have a £450 laptop, a £500 amp, and a £650 guitar - I think those are the most expensive things I own, turns out I'm not a big spender! Then again, what expensive things does a university student really need to be using? :p

Not counting my car (16k), My laptop or my desktop is probably the most expensive. My laptop was almost two grand when I bought it, but that was in 2009. My desktop is probably worth more now (900ish).

My phone D: Samsung Galaxy S4, bought unlocked and with the necessary knickknacks, cost me about $700. My Surface didn't even cost me that much o.o

Laptop that's a year old. Was £600 at that age... probably not quite so much now. Maybe half that with the wear and tear it's taken! Still more valuable than anything else I have though! #pauper

My car cost about $20k and it's paid off now so it's mine XD

The most expensive thing I own personally (as sad as this seems ) is my DS which cost me $100. Yeah kind of pathetic compared to you guys. D: Though the most expensive valuables in our household is our computer which was around 1k and my dad's car which was about 5k.

In regards to the most expensive thing our family owns, would be our 4 cars; totalling I'd guess would be $120K? OTL Excessive as hell, if you ask me and that includes my car which is like $30K, but I'm not sure it counts because my parents bought it for me under my name \: Other than that it would be my MacBook Pro that was ~$1300? It's basically all the electronics that are in my room that are worth the most.

either my Guitar and Amp or my Phone i guess, otherwise it depends upon how much a mint boxed Pokémon Red version is :)

My computer is only around $400 at retail price (and is probably worth a lot less), which means my Army Service Uniform is probably the most expensive thing I own, totaling roughly $800. In reality I don't actually own it, but a total retail replacement would cost around that much, and unless I'm injured in it or something out of my control and at no fault of my own happens while I'm wearing it, I'm solely liable for its replacement.

My car was $12,000 when I bought it. Doubt it's worth that much now after all the little scrapes and extra mileage (plus that time I kinda tore the bottom out of it and had to spend nearly $2,000 repairing it) but that's still the most expensive thing I own.

I think next up would be this very MacBook. It's worth $3,300 with all the extra add-ons I put into it, but I only paid $2,500 because I had a friend who worked at the Apple store and she gave me her once-yearly staff discount.

As far as what I have under my possession goes, and not stuff that's at my parents' house, I think that would be my MacBook Pro. It was $1300 when we got it, and nothing else in my dorm room comes close.

I do have a mini-fridge and microwave, although i'm not certain how much those were. (The room came refurbished with a desk and bed when we first got here.)
