Your most valuable possession

We all have something that is invaluable to us whether it's because we payed a ton of money for it or because it has sentimental value. So, what is your most prized or valuable possession? Is this item valuable to you money wise or is it sentimental?

My most prized possession? If we're talking about actual objects, then I guess its the present my best friend gave me after she came back from Singapore. She's in the US now so looking at it reminds me of her and the memories we had. While its not the most special thing, it still means a lot because of who gave it to me and how much money they spent. It outclasses any old toy or book I have. That or my old guinea pig. He was my most favourite thing and I'd look forward to just seeing him press his face against the cage everyday.

I agree with you. Items that were given to us by someone that we love are much more valuable than anything a person can buy because it can be used as a memory. I also like how you chose to say your pet because a pet is something that we connect to and grow to love. They become invaluable just like friends.

I probably couldn't decide on a non-physical item so I'll say something materialistic. Long time ago I found a gold ring on the ground at an outlet mall. It was inscribed with "peace". I didn't exactly know what I should do with it, and I'm ashamed to say I didn't try to look for the owner. But that little ring symbolizes a lot of fond memories of childhood. I'm also ashamed to say that I lose it a lot, it gets shoved in a drawer, etc. But every time I rediscover it I take a moment to reminisce and also contemplate my existence.

My grandma gave me a bracelet a year before she passed away, and that's my most valuable possession. I don't wear it anymore, but I do have one of my plushies wearing it (which I keep at the top of my bookshelf). Every time I look at this bracelet, it reminds me of all the time that I've spent with her as a kid. She used to bake me cookies, put me to bed, take me out on the park, play hide and seek with me, and more. I loved her a lot, sometimes more than my own parents.

My second most important thing has gotta be my laptop. Most of the time, it's the only thing that keeps me entertained. If I ever lose it (which I hopefully won't), then I'm not sure if I'll even be able to live. xD

My most valuable possession was a necklace that I was given by my old best friend before we parted ways, but I passed that on to someone else to give it a new meaning so now I'm not too sure! I wouldn't say I hold anything else I own to be invaluable but my guitars and laptop mean quite a lot to me... so I guess I'll have to go with them for shallow reasons haha.

My mom got me a pink teddy from a store called Antics on the day after my sixth birthday. It's been with me for seven years and it doesn't look as cute and cuddly, but I've had all my happy memories as a child with this bear. When I become a mother, I'll give it to my daughter, and hope she has the same experience with it like I did.

When I was little my mom bought a pokemon bed collection thing (blanket, sheets, pillow cases) I don't have all those things anymore I do still have the blanket and its probably the most valuable item.

Now it just sits in my room folded as I could just imagine the faces and looks id get if it were still in use xD!
Its survived 15 years and I expect it to last another 30 haha!!

Money-wise, my car (which I got for a whopping $4000, though it's worth more). Sentimentality-wise... eh, not a lot I owned never really meant a lot to me, and nothing really stands out.

I'm a very materialistic person, to tell you the truth. So I can't pick just one, haha. These are in no specific order, but these are what I worry about most when I think of someone robbing me, basically.

    - My paw paw's yellow stress ball
    - "B" (Big Bird)
    - My great grandfather's pocket watch that I broke when I was 8 (oops)
    - Pokemon Blue that my dad bought me
    - Togekiss plushie my dad bought me
    - Old Christmas ornament with a picture of me, my mom, and my dad
    - My great grandmother's coin purse (where I keep my coin collection)
    - My entire Pokemon card collection
    - My first card, Jungle Eevee (I have it in a special protector and in a box)
    - My other great grandmother's birth stone ring (we're both August)

Some things I have lost over time that still upset me and I would do anything to find:

    - Baby blanket
    - Pillow cases that my me maw made for me
    - The porcelain duck my great grandfather gave me
    - My etched out 1949 half dollar necklace that was my great grandmother's

woo long list. As you can see, I'm big on family...and Pokemon. lol

my laptop is one of my most valuable objects in the world. I dont care how old it is(its 2 yrs old never replaced it) I will keep it till the end. My cat peppy is another. When I am feeling down she is the first I go to. that goes for all my cats actually hahaaa.

My grandmother made me this small baby bolster for me after my old one got limpy when I was small. I still have this bolster till today and I hug it to sleep every night. Not only does it give me comfort and makes me happy, but it also reminds me so much of my grandma, and will always be a reminder of her when she finally passes on. If I ever lose it or if someone steals it for whatever reason (why would anyone want to steal a baby bolster anyway), I seriously don't know what I would do anymore.

    All aboard the feels train!
Y'all have a lot of presents that you have received that have sentimental value. I never really have that. So, mine is probably by 42" HD TV that I saved up for and bought when I was a little younger. It was the first big thing I bought by myself and I got to say, I was proud of it.

Hmmm. So many people here that are close to their families and stuff XD

My most valuable possession would probably be my headphones honestly. Red Studio Beats by Dr. Dre <3

And i'm also very fond of my piercings+tattoos. Pretty sure those would count as possessions XD

I know it's sad and it shows how much of a modern-day kid I am, but my laptop. I would be dead without this thing. I love it so much I think I could marry it.

My mom never really got me a lot of sentimental stuff when I was younger (she's not big on materialistic love, although she throws a huge tantrum if I "don't appreciate what she gets me" even though I always do for some reason) so I don't really have anything... significant or meaningful.
