  • Yeah, I found something quite interesting in terms of the input handler. It cancels player input when they walk over certain tiles, something to take note of in future routines.
I doesn't have a seperate PID generator/regeneration to prevent trainers from getting shinies. In clean ROMs I've had trainers with shinies on a couple of occasions.
i had some help thank you but do you happen to have any desert tile sets that i can use? ones that i can just load into the advance map without converting the file type to pal
um hey im new to this place and i was looking up to find how to rom hack and this come up is there anyway you can help me or do you know anyone?
wanna do me a favor :D?
Skim through the explanations on my tutorials and tell me if I have some misunderstanding :D
Next you'll say what Touched said and try to tell me that the earth tilting creates more distance from the sun than it's orbit :x

Anyways, yeah, it's a foggy line between compiler and assembler, but by definition of a compiler, and assembler is a type of compiler.
It is the exact same thing. The only thing is that an Assembler, generally, only converts ASM directly into machine language. A compiler, depending on the one you use, is able to make optimizations in the output. But now a days, even newer ASM "assemblers" can do that, like MIPS for example :x
lol, is that even possible? It's a bit that determines ability iirc :x
    Thank U!
1- Well, I found in 083A64C8, data which allow you to move diagonally. however I checked the movements and not found the diagonal movement available.
then, I would like to know how you created them for PBP / PRP.

2 - searched a bit and managed to find the routine that loads the behavious bytes checking if it was active or not. However I could not find the specific data of the movements of each.
Ex: In 08059AF5 get data on ledges. however, the routine, just checks that the behavious is the 0x38 or not to be able to load the movements in "38 = Person jumps right over block" in AMAP.

My knowledge in ASM are very low. My search mode is "in the eye!", stare and editing routines that can not find to be relevant, to see being creates some change. xD

since the DPPT out this is one of 2 things I wanted to spend for the FR.
the other are the Automatic shadows on all OW, however this could work something out. : P

So if you can help me with this would be very grateful!
