    Strategy RPG and Tactical RPG respectively. :>

    There's a whole debate over which games fall under which, but generally, they're the games with grid-like maps, like the Fire Emblem games, the Final Fantasy Tactics games, or even the Disgaea games. Since the line between strategy and tactical is so blurred, a lot of people, including myself, just use them interchangeably, but it could also be one of those things you "know when you see it." For example, games like Fire Emblem and Project X Zone 2 are SRPGs to me, while games like FFTA are TRPGs.

    RPG genres are complicated. :p

    Ahhhhhh thank you, thank you!! I'll be listening to these today during work :) I'll let you know what I think, but it already looks like a good group, a few of these bands are some i've been meaning to listen to.

    Nah, don't be scared. The great music will keep you company, as you die over and over again. Maybe this time the game won't be as difficult as before! Although, if you're planning to perfect Super Meat Boy, then good luck. :p

    Right now I'm playing Project X Zone 2. It's a pretty long game, haha! I'm only on chapter 33 or so. I think there's about 40 chapters, if the first game is anything to go by. Other than that, I finished Project Diva F on the PS3 just today, and I just started my first playthrough of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth1 too. :)

    Heh, weeb games. I just love JRPGs. If you couldn't already tell, SRPGs and TRPGs are probably up there in my favourite video game genres, right next to action platformers and rhythm games. :p

    Yup! I beat it many years ago, haha. Only the Light World levels, though. I played through a bunch of the Dark World levels, but I think I gave up after attempting to unlock The Kid. That set of levels was brutal! I just couldn't get past them, and it was driving me insane. .-.

    I might revisit it someday, but I have a ton of other recent games I want to finish first.

    Either way, your opinion isn't wrong. Super Meat Boy is definitely a hard platformer. I just kept going because I loved the challenge. Although, evidently it still managed to beat me. :p
