  • Thanks! Oooh, get a bunch of blankets and just drink hot coffee weather eh? :D That's awesome! Here's to an amazing 2019!
    it can be for the times she gets 12-hour shifts, but unlike a lot of american factory workers she has some flexibility in electing for that. usually only when she needs to bank, like a few years ago she tackled all of her debts since basically forever, and now shes helping bootstrap my sister. otherwise she takes normal 8-hour shifts and at $14.50/hour its still plenty

    tiring or not, the work never gets into your head xD
    you can think about whatever, the job might wear your bones out but mentally its like nothing at all

    are you still studying, or how does that work with transfers and stuff? i never looked into university staffing
    haaa thanks, im alone more than id like to be. i think the human factor is quite a big larger than us though, wont go on about it too much lol

    your work sounds like the sort that with a decent schedule can turn therapeutic, with forgiving social conditions. thats what my mother's gotten into with her career as a factory worker, shes making such good money with it on top of the good sched too. i think shes been doing great since my sister returned for high school from our dad's, you know how moms always are lol
    that sounds a lot more normal to me, i envy it especially if you have a window

    sort of! personally i do tech stuff yeah, but my job is a lot more than that these days. weve been camping in the office of our media partner here in indonesia, and they have lots of window sunlight

    when im not programming i do business relations and mgmt stuff, but ive really had a back seat for that here as my husband takes the lead with language. weve talked with several large companies here over the months including RCTI and Suzuki, and you know, the folks in charge are so much more human than you would imagine. it's not at all like business in america lol, so its very socially stimulating
    nice
    im awake at the wrong time, gonna try to stick it out into tomorrow (my am is probably your pm, if you're EST us)

    whats your work?
    thank you sweet sheep!

    also I never thought that you might one day own PC, but I can't imagine it in the hands of anyone better
    yayyyy yeah it's been a while! I'm on break now so just enjoying my summer :3 How's life on your end?
    Things are interesting on my end, Mclaren ended up terminating my contract with three months pay, so I decided to go visit my family in Sydney. I'll be there till end of January so pretty much relaxing at the moment. I'll start planning my next move once January hits. Gives me a month or so to sort myself out which should hopefully suffice. I damaged my right ankle when I went out for a run just before the flight which has set me back a few weeks in terms of training. Frustrating to say the least but it'll be better soon.

    Congrats on the new relationship, you seem happy though I am a little surprised - you were with your previous partner for a while. But then again, my mates sister dumped her boyfriend after 5 years so I guess anything goes. My cousin is planning on going to Japan early next year and end of next year I am hoping to go.

    I'll leave you with this;
