PokéCommunity 2.1.1 is the most mundane update ever
- There's some changes regarding our new advertising. Support us back by whitelisting our ads or becoming a supporter! 😄
-- Supporters may now opt in or out of viewing advertising across PokéCommunity.
-- The new advertising is no longer displayed on specific pages as to not disrupt your experience
- Remember when we need to figure out whether you're a human or not? Maybe not, if you're logged in. But for our guests and for if you forget your password, and you ever thought the verification code was too hard to read, all good now because we threw it out and replaced it with reCAPTCHA.

A change log was never given for 2.1 because it involves tools for our staff, namely tools for when you're having trouble resetting your password or when we want to see what new threads people have posted. See? Mundane. 👌🏻

Important: In preparation for various major changes coming to PC, we're shutting down the retro side of PokéCommunity. If you're still using older themes such as Forever Standing, which support has completely ceased for, please be aware that we're disabling these older themes permanently from June 14.

Rare account customization update! PokéCommunity now allows you to set your pronouns in the profile settings, as a more useful alternative to choosing a preset gender. Pronouns will appear on your posts (except on mobile phones) and on your profile if you have them set :)

This is very overdue in announcing, although not terribly late in the sense a triallist has recently been upgraded. Still, I am very bad.

The Scrapbox forum, previously only accessible by supporters, is now open to everyone. It can be located in the Off-Topic category as the final forum on the list. If you've ever needed to preview a thread, test code, or store notes for yourself, this is your place. There are currently three categories - [Test], [Note], and [Important]. You have the ability to close, open, and delete posts made within your test threads as you wish, as well as apply thread icons by going into the thread, clicking Tools, and then clicking "Edit Thread." Currently, it is not possible to undelete a post that has been deleted due to rank permissions, so please keep this in mind.

Note that no one, not even administrators, can see any threads/posts you make in the Scrapbox. They are visible only to you.

Small change for phone users! To save space and prevent broken page layouts on smaller screens, we've made the change to always hiding signatures on mobile devices. This should make browsing on mobile a much smoother experience, without requiring you to disable signatures on all your other devices too. :)

PS: Signatures still show in the "About Me" tab of someone's profile, even on mobile!
