    [PokeCommunity.com] Poll of the Year

This year, we've collectively posted approximately 1,250 polls.

Since April, one poll every week has been chosen by you to stand out above the rest. In total, there are now twenty-nine polls that have been judged as more interesting or fun to answer than any other thread.

These twenty-nine threads are your candidates. Which should rise one step further and claim the title of POLL OF THE YEAR?

    The Rules

    • You may vote for up to three nominees.
    • If more than one of your polls was voted Poll of the Week, you may only vote for one of them.
    • You may NOT vote on alternate accounts.
    • Discussion is not permitted here; it makes it incredibly difficult to count votes. If you have any questions, PM myself or sammi-san.

    The Nominees

Okay, here are my three votes and why I voted for them. :3

knows not what it means - I really like questions that seem so simple but have such deep thought behind the actual answer. Also tbh I like the questions that give you a really hard hypothetical because I like to see who tries to "game" it - find a loophole that makes you get the best of both worlds, or just change the rules to make it ideal for you when the idea is that neither is ideal.

I don't like that name...I'm changing it! - I'll be the first to admit that I love PC-related questions. I think they're incredibly interesting and ones that everyone can relate to and really fun to see who answers with what. This one came out in a really interesting way, with serious answers like Debates and Discussions, to Other Controversial Topics and fun joke answers that let you know how some forums are actually seen.

A world without electricity...? - This is just one of those nice hypotheticals that are really open-ended and allow you to discuss in a way that doesn't railroad you into one of two options. It's also another really simple question that really has so many implications that it would take a long time to even think of them all.

    Fantasy or Future?

I only wanted to vote for one that I could answer and this is the one I had the strongest answer for (in my mind because I wasn't exactly screaming activity at the time it was posted but w.e). It's something I find myself fantasizing about a lot... probably too much xD

Death or Insanity? - This one really made me think deeply, and I mean really deeply about what I would do. I think this was an excellent hypothetical question. And it made me realise that I'm too cowardly to shoot myself.

Favorite fields of Science - I liked this one because I really like science and because it wasn't that difficult to answer. I sometimes like these polls because I tend to feel lazy at certain times.

Paint the picture of you at your worst. - This one made me think a bit about myself, and kinda made me laugh and feel sad at the same time. You know you've done well when you can do that, especially the first one.

Admittedly I wasn't around for many of them, but after taking a look at earlier polls I've made my decision

Seven Weeks; Seven Cities I really like the concept of this poll, and it'd be fun and easy to answer

And if I think of more I'll edit this.

If you had just one chance... - I liked the concept of this one, I thought it really got the brain gears working and you had to really put a little bit of thought into what it was you wanted to say - Lovely answers as well!

"If I were a boy, even just for a day..."‎ - I generally loved this thread, great answers, real food for thought and the question is very clever and something I'm sure we would've all imagined doing at least once in our life!

Yep, I'm only voting for the two, I wanted to only pick one but after narrowing it down those were my favourites.

    Voting for:

    The country of Comunnitovia!
    A letter to your past

The first is a cute thread that really gets everyone thinking and surprisingly is able to create small discussion in OVP, something many other threads can't do. The second was an awesome idea and Gav did well to have thought of that. :)

    Hmmm....I'm voting for:
    •Fantasy or Future?
    •Favorite fields of Science
•The worst thing you've ever done?

I just like the name titles and I think those are the only threads I posted into.

    A letter to your past..

It's something from the current life we say to our past make us see how much did we changed during the years..^^

I have to agree that "A letter to your past" was a wonderful poll concept with many interesting replies, therefore getting my vote as well.
