We've made it through another year - REJOICE! Thank you all for your participation in this year's Member of the Year! The results, as usual, took a couple of days to allow for New Years celebrations to settle down a bit; you know the usual story. A huge thanks to Dragon for helping me tally the votes. There weren't quite as many as last year, which was disappointing, but there were still quite a lot to sift through.

By the way, if this looks like color vomit to you, it definitely is and I'm not sorry, hehe. Anyway, without further adieu, here are the results. If memory serves me right, this is the most categories I've won in a single MOTY ballot. I guess my impressive activity as of late must have done something right.

Getting voted "Most likely to refresh every 5 seconds in a downtime" for like what, two or three years in a row now is quite the shock to me but it seems like everyone thinks I really do try to refresh when they happen lol. And I won "Most Changed Since Joining" for the second year in a row as well!

"Most Post Count Obsessed"... like seriously how many times did I win this one now? Probably twice in a row I guess, but it seems like people still look at my fast pacing when it comes to posts hahahahaha.

And this is also the second time I won Favorite Female Member, because I remember winning that same category back in 2012 so I have to admit I was shocked hahahaha. Also, I feel happy to have been in a three-way tie with maccrash and Psylocke (two other great members with great musical taste) over in the C&M ballot.

"Most Likely To Be Next Mod" is the most interesting one I admit. If what you guys are saying is proven to be true anytime soon, I can guess you must all be psychics hahahaha. Probably because you all think I give off the impression, but I'm still cracking up at it.

Anyways, congrats to everyone else who won, and especially Peitharchia for winning the main title. Here's to a great year and we'll see who will have a big impact in 2015!

i can't believe it really. I've finally won a major category <3 I honestly didn't expect winning Best Signature since I know people that have signatures that are amazing :O

Another year, another one of these. It's so hard to argue against popularity contests because of their popularity, ain't it? Hahaha

Some of these winners actually made me chuckle a little at the categories they got. The responses are so in the sky, too. PC, you never change, do you? It's like I can read the minds of the regulars here, almost. I should be more conservative if I'm to blend in better.

By the way, if I'm not mistaken I think some forums got left out. Unless that was intentional or something, I dunno.

Many of the subforums did not opt to do Member of the Year balloting or they did not receive enough ballots to warrant inclusion.

Anyway I'm really pleased that Syd and I got Best Pair. We've been together since '10 and I know how much she's wanted it. Thanks to those that voted for us. Also appreciate those that voted for the 25 Days of Gaming. Makes me feel good that the effort put in was enjoyed.

I actually feel so unpressured now that I didn't win anything this year. I realise that staff win way too many categories, I know it's because by extension of their contribution they are inherently quite frequently in the limelight on the forum. It seems that in nearly every category (outside of section specific at least) staff members came first or placed highly. I would like to see that trend bucked next year. At the end of the day staff make a lot of contributions and certainly are worthy of what they place in here, but I've ways felt that the scales are oddly weighed given how many good non-staff members there are.

Of course we can all claim this is a "popularity contest", blah blah blah, we know. But the more accessible this competition becomes to all users the happier I am. That said, congratulations to the winners and here's to another year on PC.

I think it's strange you're relieved to not be a part of things. I wish I could feel like that, or maybe I just don't know because I've never won anything to drive worry over.

The politics of staff relations here are one of the most messy things I've seen, I'll relinquish that. There are a lot of positives and negatives to things but really as long as people enjoy themselves and most everyone can be happy and included in things I don't see all too many problems. Eh...
