    Welcome to Video Game's Poll of the Week! Thanks to the permission of Pokemon General's moderator Brendino, Video Games will now be hosting a weekly series that pits certain video game characters, levels, and universes against other to see which one will come out on top! In last week's Poll of the Week, we had a tie between Iggy Koopa and Ludwig von Koopa as PC's favorite Koopa Kid!

    What is/are the best Mario Party game(s)?

    So I haven't actually played that many of them (1-4 and then either 6 or 7?) BUT I voted for 1 and 2.
    Almost purely for nostalgia, but because there's one mini-game that I remember very fondly from those two.. Grab Bag.

    We could be toward the end of the game, relatively tied with my sister on stars, and then this mini-game pops up... and I get a chance to completely turn the tables on the game. She's in first place, everyone's gonna go for her, but I'll walk away with the most.

    And no, there's no particular reason that I used my sister as an example. Honest.
     
    Not gonna lie, I clicked into this thread ready to get mad at anyone who talked about something other than "Mario Party", so I'm glad the thread is actually about Mario Party.

    I only own the even-numbered Mario Parties (although I think I have played all the others, except the handheld versions, to some extent), and I think my favourite is probably Mario Party 4. It has a lot of good minigames and the maps are pretty fun. MP6 is pretty good too, but I prefer items over orbs. I pretty much play with the same people every time, so we try to mix up which versions we play so we don't get bored of any single game, but MP4 is definitely the one I think of first when I think of Mario Party.

    :( I heard MP10 is going to use the same weird everyone-controls-everyone-around-the-board mechanic from MP9 and I played one game of that and absolutely hated it, so I think it's probably going to be the first even numbered MP that I don't get... and that's disappointing.
     
    Not gonna lie- I haven't played any of the Mario Party games past the first 4, but I did enjoy all of them a fair bit. I voted for all 4 in the poll, but if I had to pick just one, I think I'd go with 4. It's one of the very few games I've played for the Gamecube, but it was basically the only thing I'd play at one of my friends' house in 5th grade, and we never got bored of it.
     
    I'd say 6! I played it a ton when I was little, and I rented a copy about a year ago and it still maintains its charm for me. Its minigames, boards, and everything about it (yes, including the mic fails which were hilarious) boots it to the top of the charts for me.
     
    Played a crap ton of Mario Party 3 back in the day! But I really dig Mario Party 8, with the graphics and the new features! Like I used to love going to that board, Neon Heights, haha. Mario Party 3 had some cool stuff too, but god darn that Big Boo who steals coins and stars.. ugh!
     
    I'm going with Mario Party 6 on this one because it's the first Mario Party game I've ever played, The music was awesome and it has my favorite Mario Princess, Daisy as a playable character :)
     
    Difficult choice this one. I've played many of the Mario Party games over the years, I remember playing Mario Party 6 & 7 with my friends so much over one summer. I'd probably have to say Mario Party 6 was my favourite just because of the awesome boards and mini-games.
     
    Voted for 5 & 9, I love the boss battles from Mario Party 9 and 5 just has the most fun mini games of them all (plus the capsule system and Ice hockey are really fun to do as well XD)
