Not much to say, but have a good day everyone.~

Today is gonna be rough.
Not much sleep and a longer work day. It's not just work but the scammers whose IDE and programming language we have to use hold some presentations to tell us how awesome their garbage is. That means for me:
- pretending like I care
- set my expectations as low as possible and probably still end up disappointed
- keep my cynicism as low as possible
- get away from work hours later

I'm not a coffee drinker but damn do I need a coffee <_<

Sounds like you're expecting a rough day Seliph. Sending hugs your way 🤗

So peeps. Nearly March already!

Has any of you been brave enough to gamble, and make plans for later this year on the (risky) assumption that things are somewhat back to normal by then?

If you have, do you have an escape route planned if the pandemic is still in full swing?

Hope things are going smoothly for you, or at least as smooth as they can be?

I've really got nothing in terms of plans and to be honest, I'm kinda okay with that. Hopefully things are way better and back to normal later through the year, but my only real idea is being pushed into college in the fall seeing as that's likely what'll end up happening. My escape route is more like just standing here doing the same thing, since I feel pretty accustomed to living during the pandemic (even if I'm not doing a whole lot with my life depending on who you ask, I'm okay with that too) so I don't think I have to go out of my way to plan anything specific.

Good morning/afternoon/evening the lovely people of PC~!
I hope everyone is doing well lately have a wonderful weekend~!

Hey Leaf!

I'm great thank you. I hope everything is going well for you too! 😊

Spring is promising to appear soon in my part of the world. The sun has been shining, birds are everywhere, the buds on my azaleas are taking their annual roll of the dice and forming early - very risky considering we can get snow here until nearly summer!

Has anyone else felt a changing of the season lately - whatever that may be in your part of the world?

I'm doing great today, thank you for asking Ash~! I saw on my forecast weather app today we're getting Spring weather starting in March again and I'm excited to get out more and take my mile or more walks each day I do. Plus my cat and sister's cat will appreciate and enjoy very much having windows open to smell the fresh air. Last week where I reside we had two Spring like days highs in the 70s it was really nice plus sunny both days too which I love.

Goooood morning.~
Slept in extra since I was awake early for the Pokemon Direct, and I gotta say, having new Pokemon news and having an excuse to sleep in past noon has been a nice start to the weekend. Hoping it gets comfier from here, and for you all as well.~

Azaleas? I hope they stay safe from the snow, I'm sure they're really pretty. I've actually sorta had a bigger appreciation for them since a couple years ago.
In terms of seasons I don't think I've really noticed much. I'm really excited for the spring since I loved last spring, it was full of new and exciting things (I moved out of my old place I felt stuck in for 5 years, the new LL game I play daily came out, I started to take my goals more seriously and I started enjoying going outside way more) so I wanna carry those feelings into the new season. I remember sitting here a while ago thinking "I miss what March was like, it was perfect". But that's a ramble, uhhhhhh--
I think it's sort of warmed up here? We usually get snow up to February but don't get it too often. Snow's pretty much gone off the ground where I live, but the place I travelled to last weekend still had some so it was neat to come home and realize most of ours was gone. It's not quite at the level where I'd say it's comfortable, and it still sort of feels like winter, especially in the morning, but it's turning very slowly, and I'm excited.

My two Canadian brain cells interpreted that as 70s Celsius and I was gonna ask if you're doing alright in the oven...

Sleeping in is nice I can't do that anymore with my insomnia issues. It only was 71F out on one of our good days outside where I live this week, anything past 75F is hot I think.

How well I can sleep is usually pretty inconsistent, but since I was up until 2am, then had to wake up at 7am for the direct, and fell back asleep from 8-12, it just meant I lost an hour and was really tired. In terms of insomnia, I feel like I've only really "had trouble sleeping" and nothing that serious. Hope it's not too bad for you though.

One sec, just gotta run the numbers, do the calculations, carry the 1...

Oh, yeah, that does seem like a really nice temperature, I'd love to go out in that. Super comfy.

Having insomnia really sucks plus with chronic nightmares as well majorly sucks and its extremely hard to deal with. Sometimes I wonder how I get through a day. x,.,x

I've suffered with insomnia and night terrors for many years. Without getting too off topic - in the off topic section 😅 - you might get some relief by looking up dream intervention.

It was designed to treat PTSD, so it only really works if you have a good idea what the nightmare will be about, such as a recurring theme, but it might be something you want to look into 😊

Oh insomnia! I have depression, so it comes and goes. My anti depressants help my moods a bit, but not the insomnia.
And the anti depressants that help with sleep make me feel heavy and dizzy.
