    I joined this forums as Pichuzilla on January 12, 2011. I am currently waiting for my approval to change my name to Desmond J. Pichuzilla, and I feel it's a good time to reminisce on my 6+ years on residing on this forums.
    We all had ups and downs in our personal life and our digital life. I definitely did. Let's take a look at the difference between 2011 Pichuzilla and 2017 Pichuzilla.

    2017 - Desmond J. Pichuzilla
    I'm making a ROM Hack inspired by Borderlands, Binding Of Issac, Grand Theft Auto, and elements from Minecraft.
    I still roleplay, but not as much.

    OH MAN, 2011 was MY FREAKING YEAR on PC. I became really active on PC, then I got modded to Meet & Greet (it was called New Users/Welcome at the time), I did SO MANY THINGS as a PC staff member which included welcoming a lot of people on here and helping out with PC related stuff. I also met so many friends including someone who is...no longer my best friend and is no longer part of the forum anymore (sadface). ALSO, I was living in San Diego at the time and I was attending college at the time working on my university studies/IT degree. I turned 21 that year as well.

    MAN how times have changed for me.

    oh did I mentioned I was Meganium90 at the time....

    Nice to read that 2011 was an amazing time for you! :)
     
    I wasn't here in 2011, but the year wasn't good for me anyway, my health really slipped then.
     
    I joined in 2010, but I'm pretty sure I didn't really get active anywhere until 2011, albeit that was mainly in the ROM hacking section. I spent a lot of the first half of 2011 learning how to script and joining up with different ROM hacking teams, and although none of them really went anywhere, I had a lot of fun with it!

    In the summer of 2011, I decided to check out the IRC channel for some reason or another, and it pretty much ended up being the only place I really went to on PC for the rest of the year. I did post around a bit, but I mainly enjoyed talking to the people in the IRC. That was also where I got to meet Alex for the first time, probably known by most as either Ozzy or Squirrel, who was the one to get me interested in the forums again, specifically the Pokemon Clubs section, which I ended up becoming of for like 2-3 years.

    PC and a lot of the people were a major part of my life throughout 2012-2015, so it's weird to imagine what it would've been like had I not become so interested in PC or the IRC back then, and not getting to meet Alex (who is still one of my best friends and whom I still talk to regularly). So definitely a lot of fond memories from 2011 :')

    Nowadays I don't really do much on PC. I still check it pretty regularly just out of habit, but I'm not really active in any way. I've been thinking of getting back into it several times, but with the clubs sections gone, I just have a hard time finding anything that really interests me enough :(
     
    i joined in 08 but my activity dipped between 2010 and 2011 so i wasn't around PC much at that time. i was suicune™ during those years.
     
    I joined in 2007 so by 2011 I had almost stopped being a noobderp and I got modded in the eerie dusty Roleplay Corner in the winter. Left the modness to somebody else next autumn, when the place was looking shinier than ever before, of course B)

    By that time PC name changes had stopped also so I had been stuck with Red's Hawt Chibi Pelippers for a couple of years and that didn't change until 2013 when I could test the waters with my new identity Adventure instead <33

    Idk if I was much different back then. A lot more drunk, that's for sure.

    In 2011 I was actually hugely inactive I think, at least the later part of the year since I transferred schools. My username was Kyoko and I hung around off-topic.

    Now it's 2017, I'm still not that active anymore, but now my username is Margot. I still hang out in off-topic :) That much never changes.
     
    Don't remember, I may have still been banned in 2011. I remember distinctly being unbanned by 2012. 2011 was my first year of College so I wasn't too huge on PC at the time. I only started being active on PC again in 2015 tbh

    I..don't think I was too active in 2011 except for a few posts and topics here and there. I think I mostly posted a bunch of fan fic and stuff. I went as Shadow_Angel then. I was very cringe.. since I was only 13 then. Also 2011 wasn't a really good year for me mentally I think but oh well. Now I go by sumire (or hoshiko, really. I'm waiting for my name change to be available again so I can change it back) I think I'm a lot more mature than I was back then and whatnot. I post a lot in off topic and somewhat in forum games. I have slipped into one of my old obsessions of course so...yup.
     
    I can't speak for 2011 because I was still a lurker but I suppose I can reflect on 2012 until now?

    I joined PC in 2012 under the username of jellicentfan1. I don't really know why I picked that name, I assume I was hyped about BW still! Jellicent is one of my favorite Pokemon. When I joined I can't say that I had intentions of sticking around. I'd post around some, but I wasn't really enjoying myself. However, later in 2012 I was invited to join our battle server and my entire outlook on PC changed. I became super involved in the server, eventually getting staffed in early 2013 which made me become insanely active on PC. Later that year I was promoted to moderator of this section. That did not last long though as I resigned shortly after. In 2015 I rejoined PC staff and was promoted to battle server Administrator shortly after. In 2016 I was promoted to Super Moderator here on PC! It's been quite the fun adventure.

    PC has definitely had it's ups and downs for me, but mostly it has been positive. I've met countless friends that I love and even if some of my friendships have faded over time, I still think fondly of everyone that I've had the pleasure of befriending at one point. Nothing means more to me here than the people.
