April 2025 Archipelago (In progress)

Cannot look into it too much right now. (Is about to go to sleep.)

1. Are you using AP_24001443094299140682_P3_AlexPrime to patch it? (Assumes so, since you connected to the other games.) Alternatively, are there any old patches/patched games floating around? Try deleting those. Check your main Archipelago folder. Found that duplicate of the bad version there once before.

2. Do you need to type in your slot name? Is it spelled correctly, if so? Should be "AlexPrime", without the quotes.

3. Did you try the connection troubleshooting tips in the Metroid Prime setup guide?

(Edit: Connected to the right server, for the record. Sees the Invalid Slot errors in the log.)

Edit2: ...Interesting name in that error.

That was what I tried typing in to ask anyone playing at the time. But in so doing it DC'd me. I connected to the game once properly at the start of this Multiworld, but it's getting back on that I'm having trouble with. It does ask me for a file name, but I've never had to enter that before for either Prime or any other game and didn't know what it was or what that meant. I'll try AlexPrime the next time I boot it up and it asks me for it and see if that works first.

Holocure (Update 1)
What is Holocure? Compares it to Vampire Survivors, except themed with Hololive (a group of Vtubers). (Explicitly stated that was one of the inspirations. Really sees it from the starting stage and weapons too.) Defeats waves of monsters with weapons that fire automatically. Levels up weapons and items to grow stronger.

Is not an official game. Created a manual of it. Could have used an existing one. Might start from scratch, however, complete with coin farming. Felt like less of a hassle than making it.

Grabs multiworld items two ways: defeating mini-bosses and bosses (who drop Holozon boxes) and beating a stage with one of the groups of talents. Must receive a Stage to play it, as well as have enough upgrades to beat it (logically). Wins by defeating the final boss of Stage 4 Hard.

Begins with 10 weapons (out of ~22?), 10 items (out of ~44?), and one talent group. Enables some strategies better than others, as a result. Some notable starting stuff:
  • Plug Type Asacoco and Fan Beam: Combines to make the best single-target boss killer. Further upgrades with its supercollab and the Gorilla Paw (both of which need to be found).
  • Chicken Feather: Revives you 3 times as max level. Helps a ton for just making it through a stage. Survives a part of a stage with high damage (or a boss) that way.
  • Noel: A very strong character...with all the upgrades, at least. Adds +2 maximum hitpoints every 30 seconds. Provides a lot of leeway with survivability. Will likely be the one to kill Goriela (the final boss), partially thanks to some good synergy with the starting items (Knightly Milk, Just Bandages) too.

Does not have much to say about beating Stage 1 itself. Made Dragon Fire (the collab from the two weapon mentioned above) and BJ Fujoshi. Also has Elite Cooking as a possibility, but no Uber Sheep (or its supercollab) yet.

[PokeCommunity.com] April 2025 Archipelago (In progress)

Sent a Progressive Backpack to Stardew Valley from all this. Was very pleased about that.

Sees an unfortunate problem ahead. Received several talent groups and upgrades, but no extra stages. Fights the boss of a stage at the 20 minute mark. Costs a lot of time for one check each.

Stardew Valley (Update 1
Got a strong itch for playing Stardew Valley last time. Decided on one big game with a lot of settings on. A quick rundown of the settings:
  • Community Center goal with "Expensive" remixed bundles.
  • Craftsanity. Earns an item by crafting stuff. (Actually gets the item.)
  • Skillsanity. Earns an item by leveling up skills. (Does not get the benefit. Must receive them from the multiworld.)
  • Fishsanity (no hard fish), Museumsanity (milestones), AND Friendsanity (4 hearts). Chose only one of the three last time.
  • Random season and farm.
  • Powersanity. Found the setting that makes the bookseller cheaper. Felt much better that way.
  • 6 movement buffs (up from 4 last game), plus some others.
  • Very short Special Order board. Wanted to turn it off. Needs recipes from it one way or another.

Added some mods for the first time. Consists mostly of user interface mods. Notes the Automate mod too. Automatically grabs stuff and can process things.

Randomed into this character.
[PokeCommunity.com] April 2025 Archipelago (In progress)

Began in Spring on the new Meadowlands farm. Starts with a free Coop, two chickens, and some blue grass. Finally started on a non-default farm.

Collected some copper tools from others. Not a bad start. Also had an Island Obelisk and Parrot Express already. Reaches the Ginger Island farm for summer crops super easily. (Gets back a little less easily.)

Gathered a bunch of wood on the first few days. Gives time for trees to regrow. (Likes being day-efficient, despite not being the best strategy.) Eventually unlocked the Community Center. Checked out the bundles. Seems...reasonable? Recalls very little good on anything in there, minus maybe some FFV stuff.

Cleared a few levels of the mines. Had awful luck with infested areas (kill all monsters to proceed). Hit back-to-back infested levels with no actual weapon. Realized later that a Cudgel dropped in one of those sections with the Slime Slayer perk. Would have been handy, but still good now.

Got kind of antsy and decided to go to the Volcano dungeon. Intends for you to tackle this after the Community Center, so very late in-game. Suffered a ton of damage and dealt very little in return (1-5 damage against 220 HP Magma Spirits, ~20 to slimes). Mainly hoped to get some seeds or something. Stumbled upon something much better: a chest. Cracked it open to find a Dwarf Sword (an end-game sword) with a crit buff to it. Went from 23 damage to a slime (high roll) to a 423 critical. Cleared the Volcano Dungeon with it on a later day (despite some close calls).

Picked up one other nice item from a Mining skill-up: a Golden Egg. Pairs well with the second progressive coop. Might have solved the money problem. Planned to get through it with pineapples.

Ended in the first season still. Will repeat it for some Friendsanity checks (extra friendship from birthdays). Could go to Fall or Winter. Does not have a fishing rod yet, notably. Locks off all those fishing checks.

Oh, and a note: Automatically scouts items in shops and bundles. Means a lot of "hints", useful or not. Cannot turn it off, unfortunately. Remembers Setstuna's Thunder Badge for a hefty 10000 gold and Vendily's Translator for 50 Cinder Shards. May be a little while for those.

I got my Sphere 1 checks for Doom II.

The first level, Entryway, had some Beet Seeds and the first Gus Heart for SV. Next up, The Factory had Ion Thrusters to increase Diamondback movement speed, tech for the Zerg to create two Drones out of a single egg, the Olympus Stone for KH2, the Wedding Ring Recipe for Devalue, and finally a useless Motivational Video as my first ArchipIDLE joke item. The last Sphere 1 checks, from Nirvana, had 16 REP for the Bomb Rush Crew, and Corn Seeds and a Magic Rock Candy for SV.

I've never played HoloCure but it was neat to see it as an Archipelago game. Hope it's enjoyable!

I've gone a little bit through BRC and FFV already, though I expect a lot of my checks to come from LG as long as the start isn't bad. The only thing useful I can remember grabbing so far is a Progressive Power Beam for Alex, but if anything catches my eye in the future I'll make sure to mention it.
FFV's start was pretty good, I won't turn down starting as Knights with Time magic. I'm slowly gonna work through more of FFV because I'd like to get an early-game grind out of the way. If anyone finds Adamantite, please let me know, since that's the big thing that's gonna start opening up the game for me.
I put it in the Cheesetracker notes but if people aren't using the tracker, I just thought I'd mention again that BRC's entire progression is gated by REP, so my ability to grab late-game checks like anything in Pyramid Island or Mataan is just gonna depend on how much REP I end up getting, so I ask for your patience there if you happen to hint for anything that's there.

Feel free to let me know whenever anything you hint for is in my games! I ran through last Archipelago so quickly that I was kinda sad I didn't give anyone any opportunities to hint for useful things I could grab for them. It'd make me happy to do so!

Aaaalright, I suppose it's time for an update from me lol.

Z1:
Going pretty well so far. Started with the best sword and the bigger shield, so getting around in dungeons (levels, technically) has been pretty much a walk-over. I've done as much in it as I can for now, just waiting on keys/progression items like fire and my ladder. Nothing really major to report here.

M&L: Going very well. Stopped in the university area for the moment, but I'm sure there are a few obscore other places with a check or two. Just need my ability to tunnel with weeg if I'm going to get the lion's share of the game's checks. the Thunder Hand and tunnel ability would be the most helpful at the moment, but anything really would be cool and helpful somewhere.

MP: Oookay, I heavily underestimated how many doors would be blocked off by non-standard missle locks (not that I have the launcher anyway, but still). So progression has grinded to a hault in Prime. (and I'll likely turn that setting off in future runs as well, I like having to find the launcher, but also needing 3 in each weapon just to open a single subset group of doors sucks lol) Basically anything non-expansion (missile/health/power bomb) will be good here.

PE: I've been having a blast with this so far. I'm currently stuck on the island, waiting for either Surf, Fly and its badge, or the rock that dude in the cave wants to progress that plot thing. Any of those things would be very helpful, though if I get Rock Smash and the badge to use it I still have a path back on the mainland I can travel down as well.

All in all it's been going fine so far!

First pass of FFV is done! I'll go on to play Super Star and Leaf Green after sending this but I wanted to get it out so I don't forget it.
I'm putting FFV into Soft BK because I do have stuff open to me, but I'm just very weak right now and boss fights are going to be very difficult. FFV has a lot of boss fights and when you have a problem with combat it's not because you're underleveled, it's because you're undergeared or your strategy isn't working. So I'm gonna sit on that for a while and wait for some more Jobs or Abilities or equipment to check things like Shiva or Adamantoise. Seeing Hastega in a shop in Tule very early is really nice when you start with Time magic but it's just too expensive when I'm winning something like 20 gil per fight.
I've cleared out everything I could manage so far, and picked up:

Seashell for A Short Hike
Rise and some graffiti for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Barheim Key and Pinewood Chop for Final Fantasy 12
Torn Page and Valor Form for Kingdom Hearts 2
Beam and Bomb for Kirby Super Star
Alarm Bypass Patch for Outer Wilds
Mining Level, Progressive Mine Elevator, 2 Progressive Pickaxes (which were right next to each other), Silo, Willy Heart for Stardew Valley

Edit: Oh, and I found Gilgamesh as my very first boss! This seed is blessed.
[PokeCommunity.com] April 2025 Archipelago (In progress)

First pass on Kirby Super Star is also done!

[PokeCommunity.com] April 2025 Archipelago (In progress)

I started with... Gourmet Race. Which has three checks. Out of 131. Well, I shot myself in the foot...
Thankfully I ended up grabbing Revenge of Meta Knight in one of my other games so I had something else to play after that. I remember KSS being an easier game, but I did take a death during Revenge of Meta Knight and came pretty low on health a bunch of times. I'm thankful they let you take the sword to fight Meta Knight and let you use Wheelie Rider at the end despite me not having those abilities unlocked. I didn't get much, because there just wasn't much to play, but I hope a heart for Vincent and a Lucky Emblem for KH2 are useful.

Super Star is BK until I get more sub-games to play. Any one of the remaining ones (Spring Breeze, Dyna Blade, Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes, The Arena) are helpful, but Great Cave Offensive and Milky Way Wishes are gonna be the biggest ones. I will eventually need Hammer or Stone in order to grab anything, but I can't think of any particular Copy abilities I'm gonna need besides that. Plasma and Hammer are especially useful for boss fights though, if anyone happens to grab them. Because there's so little in the game, anything tagged as a Progression or Useful item for me is gonna be nice in some kind of fashion.

First pass of Leaf Green is done, so now I'll start giving updates normally like I did last Archipelago. I grabbed a lot, so here's a quick list of anything listed as Progression I picked up before I go around and push all my games back into BK.

A Short Hike: Seashell
BRC: Futurism
FFV: Steamship Key
FF12: Dragon Scale, Errmonea Leaf, Cactus Flower, Dusty Letter, Medallion of Might, Shemhazai, Zodiark
HoloCure: Stage 2
KH2: Blizzard Element, Fenrir, Lucky Emblem, Magnet Element, Majestic Mushroom, Sweet Memories, Way to the Dawn
KSS: Suplex, The Arena
ArcLG: Hideout Key, Rainbow Pass, Silph Scope, Thunder Stone
Metroid Prime: Artifact of Newborn, Progressive Power Beam, Progressive Wave Beam
Outer Wilds: Translator (Hourglass Twins)
StarCraft 2: Crushing Grip (Kerrigan Tier 2), Energizer, Wraith
Stardew: 15 Qi Gems, Big Stone Chest Recipe, Clint Heart, Combat Level, Evelyn Heart, Fiber Seeds Recipe, Fishing Level, George Heart x2, Island Mailbox, Marble Brazier Recipe, Mining Level, Poppy Seeds, Powdermelon Seeds, Progressive Pickaxe, Sebastian Heart

Exciting to be playing another Archipelago again! Here's my report so far:

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is BK and I didn't get too much done. Just some early checks around the hideout and the first few graffiti spots around Versum Hill. I think I was somewhere around 90 REP and beating the game requires something like 960, so it's just a slow start, as expected. A nice little surprise was getting Futurism early, who I would have played as if I hadn't just picked to start with Bel anyways. As always, I have too much graffiti and can't use it, so I'll be well-stocked for the future. Nothing too exciting. If I had to ask for anything, it'd be the Camera app, which I didn't realize was an unlock. I can't hint for it just yet, but I will when possible. 19/247

Final Fantasy V continues in Soft BK for now.
Obtaining my Steamship Key while playing Leaf Green was really exciting, but unfortunately the guards in Karnak Castle took notice of the last time I set fire to their kingdom and used the panic as a distraction to loot their entire castle, and were very keen on stopping me from doing it again. Trying to loot the Steamship and Karnak really made me realize I do not have enough options to fight bosses right now, because after just barely scraping by against the first boss at the end of the Steamship, who happened to be Minotauros, he completely slammed Faris with a Holy doing 5x her max HP. I ultimately decided I'd take the EXP loss with having her dead at the end of the fight and continue on to loot the castle, only to run into Omniscient, who you literally cannot win against with physical attacks. Having absolutely no offensive magic (hell, I don't even have enough weapons for everyone in my party) meant I couldn't win. But I'll be back. This stuff is part of why FFV is so great. 108/360
Adamantite is at SetsunaLG's Celadon Department Store 2F - TM Shop Item 6
Anti-Barrier is at ExplorerOfFuture's Zero Hour: Hold Just a Little Longer
Bracelet is at CherrimKH2's (PR) Boat Fight Bonus: Donald Slot 1

Kirby Super Star is BK but I've finished 3 sub-games so far. Doing the Arena wasn't really an issue, I think I'm practiced enough at Super Star to do it with any ability, or even without one, but I was surprised that my initial idea of picking Ninja wasn't as helpful as I thought it'd be. I wanted something with fast projectiles I could spam, and ended up finding that in Bomb instead, due to them doing more damage and feeling safer to use. Obtaining any sub-game and getting one of Hammer/Stone are still going to be useful for me. 29/131
Milky Way Wishes is at ExplorerOfSky's Old Building Chest
The Great Cave Offensive is at AlexM&L's Woohoo Hooniversity West of Star Room Digspot 2

Leaf Green is BK but I'm sure there's tons that'll help it out. I started in Vermillion City, caught a Horsea I trained up and fully evolved, and went through areas like the S.S. Anne, Digglet's Tunnel and Route 11, Cerulean City and Nugget Bridge. I took a look and thought the PokeFlute would open up a good chunk of Kanto for me, so I hinted for it, and then just found out it's in my own Pewter Gym. So I'll end up needing HM01 Cut to get back to Viridian City, the Cascade Badge in order to use Cut, and the key for the Pewter Gym to go fight Brock. Damn. Besides that, it's a Pokemon game so Badges and HMs are always gonna be helpful. Made me really happy to already receive Surf, it's been really useful in battle even without being able to use it to cross water. 111/1054
Poke Flute is at SetsunaLG's Pewter Gym - Prize

Stardew Valley (Update 2)
Turned the corner somewhat on money. Owns two Golden Chickens. Lays a Golden Egg each per day, so 1000 gold per day minimum. Could hook it up to the Mayonnaise Machine to automatically feed them in and increase that. Pales next to proper money setups. Suffices for now.

Fully upgraded the pickaxe thanks to Setsuna getting at least three of them. Cuts through the mines way easier now. Appreciates the Chest recipe too. Needs them for automation (and better general organization).

Save-scummed all the bookseller books, even with the reduced price. Saved...30000 gold? Maybe more? Remembers some kind of hat for a Hat in Time (Brewer?). Bought Zelda 1's Stepladder from Robin's shop. Could have save-scummed that too, but eh. Clears the huge list a little. Hates save-scumming everything.

Should have grabbed every (good?) Sphere 1 check by now. Assumes the 10000 gold backpack to not be Sphere 1, anyways. Will probably save-scum that later.

Could point out a list of ten or so different really useful things (most of them related to movement or time). As far as for checks:
  • Progressive Fishing Rods. Cannot catch anything yet.
  • Furnace recipe. Cannot smelt any metal bars. Restricts a lot of crafting options.

Holocure (Update 2)
Picked up Stage 2. Met the logical stat requirements pretty easily. (Does not mind going into a stage with less than the logical stat upgrades. Stands a far worse chance of living to the end, though.) Pre-post edit: Messed up buying upgrades. Bought 3 Attack upgrades and 2 Speed upgrades. Receives them in bundles of two, however. Should have been 6 and 4. Oh well. Went in weaker than intended, at least.

Chooses from 9 different talent groups (out of maybe 12 total). Bleh. Received way too many of these early. Goes with HoloH3ro as the first one obtained. Normally picks Kaela. Started with this group last game, though, so...Zeta? Rarely plays with either other option. Goes towards an achievement as well, so why not?

Plays in the Hololive Office, which is a horizontal stage. (Think of the Library from Vampire Survivors, for those that have played it.) Favors Dragon Fire even more here, due to enemies above and below less of a concern.

[PokeCommunity.com] April 2025 Archipelago (In progress)

Was not impressed by Zeta. Started out dicey. Carries a 2-shot pistol that pierces enemies. Hit for a little too little damage, on top of being a very narrow attack. Lends itself poorly to the constant swarm of enemies. Improves with levels (and personal skills) to occasional cone-shaped attacks.

Survived a few close calls (10% health?). Ran from burger to burger from Uber Sheep at times. Designed Zeta to move and dodge, on the other hand. Gains a crit buff from moving, alongside benefits from landing criticals too. Synergized well with Sake (+crit and extra +crit after eating a food item).

Won without dying or reviving. Helped to have a "get out of jail free" special, despite using it more for damage. Grabbed 24 REP for Setsuna. Other than that? Exploder Blue Magic for FF5 and Reflectga for FF12? Shrugs.
_______________

Likely takes a break from playing tomorrow, barring quick hinted items. Helps hand health to do so. (Matters more for click-heavy games. Set up both games to be more keyboard-heavy.) Does not have tons in logic at present anyways.

Had an interesting and quiet session today (Saw Arc join in just as I was wrapping up my last check to BK).

Progression Items found this session
Walse Tower Key - SetsunaFFV
16 REP - SetsunaBRC
Missile Expansion x2 - AlexPrime
Artifact of the Sun - AlexPrime @Alex_Among_Foxes <- You hinted for this, it seems
Toy Shovel - ExplorerOfSky

Giant's Deep has not gotten easier to navigate with practice, it's mostly been dumb luck I find whatever I'm looking for. None of the landmarks I need to find are fixed, and sometimes they're in space, and even if I do spot it, if it's headed away from me, I can't catch up. Thankfully, even if I do get the Translator for it, it wouldn't be that much trouble, since the two main islands are close to each other at the start of the loop, as I spawn on one of them, and the other drifts by it at about 1 minute into the loop.

Running against the clock has been interesting on the planet that fills up with sand, mostly because while with lots of playing I've gotten fairly good at estimating how much time in a loop has passed, it never stops being stressful running to one of the time-gated locations. I actually just barely survived this time, getting into the oxygen filled space with literally 0% oxygen left and the astronaut already starting to gasp for breath before dying. Stressful! If I died, I would have to do the whole running back again, which for context my route is:
  1. Wake up
  2. Warp to the nearby planet (not the one I need to be on)
  3. Fly into low orbit with the jet pack
  4. Land on the correct planet (Softly is better!)
  5. Run to the landmark that is also a shortcut to where I need to be
  6. Take a stop to refill my oxygen (and wait a bit since the place where I need to be doesn't open until about the 4 minute mark)
  7. RUN!
  8. End up waiting for the sand to rise, because I never know the exact time I need to start moving at (went from 37% O2 to 22% O2 here)
  9. Try to get over the cacti without poking a hole in my suit and inevitably failing every time anyway (the hitbox is deceptively large)
  10. RUN! Except this time it's in a dark maze, and also the sand is still rising
  11. RUN! I had like 8% oxygen here, so like 20 seconds left, and I could only use a bit of my fuel supply to zoom down the enclosed bridge area faster
  12. Do some simple platforming, except I had like 6 seconds left
  13. End up in the safe zone on 0% and get refilled to 100% O2 again
Thankfully, I'll never have to do that again for this Archipelago game.

As for deaths, only one counted for deathlink.
Death 2: Impact
The astronaut aimlessly drifted across the ocean of Giant's Deep, searching for another member of their space-faring team. While floating rather peacefully beside a rather dangerous island, a tornado picked up both the astronaut and the island itself. Tangled up by the brambles of the island, the astronaut was unable to free themselves before they smashed back into the surface of the ocean, shattering their body against the ice.

Just saying I have been doing a few checks here and there, but I had some older archipelagos that I really wanted to get squared off before looking at this proper. I finally did those a few hours ago and I think I just archipelago'd myself out for the day, but the good news is it means I can go crazy tomorrow hopefully!

Thank you whoever got me the Tea in LG though, I can finally move around!

Artifact of the Sun - AlexPrime @Alex_Among_Foxes <- You hinted for this, it seems

Cool find! It's built-in that going to the Artifact area of MP just gives all the Artifact hints automatically, so that's where it came from. I've actually yet to hint for anything in the run so far. I will start near the end of tomorrow if I don't have any considerable progression items by then, though.

I started in on A Short Hike and got a ton of Progression Items. First off, I found the esper Mateus sitting on the beach, and convinced Mateus to go join the FF12 party. Then, I found a hiker who noticed that I seemed a little lost, and handed me a Joycon with No Drift*. On an island on White Coast Trail, I found a Warp Star leading to the planet Cavios, and sent it off to Kirby as Claire is much too weak to fight Wham Bam Rock. A chest in Sid Beach unleashed the esper Belias, who I told to go serve the FF12 party since there aren't any monsters to fight here. I then bought Rarecrow #3 for SV from the Visitor's Center.

*Joke item for ArchipIDLE

I found the Translator (Giant's Deep) from the Sid Beach Cliff Chest, then flew down and met the Traveling Merchant, who agreed to visit Stardew Valley on Tuesdays. Then I visited Secret Island and Airstream Island. Secret Island had a Clan Primer for FF12 and Fishing Level for SV on the beach, and the first Progressive Raccoon for SV living on a treehouse. Airstream Island had another Fishing Level, and a Large Graffiti for the Bomb Rush Crew.

I flew up to the East Cost Cliff using the updraft and found the Stone of the Condemner for FF12 on a ledge, then dove back down to pick up some Coffee Beans for Stardew Valley on the beach. I found a boat which had a pair of Tropic Slacks for Mario and Luigi, and a Cherry Sapling for SV. Moving on, I found a +2 Speed Upgrade for Holocure next to a blocked mine, and Beanlet 3 on the beach just next to it.

I found an Enricher for SV on the boat rental island, than a Rustic Plank Floor Recipe on the sapling island, and finally found Stage One Hard for HoloCure on a small island in the Orange Islands. I then went back to the mainland and found a woman named Vinyl playing Beachstickball, and invited her to join the Bomb Rush Crew. I went south along the beach back to the start point, and found a Torn Page for KH2 and a Cobblestone Path Recipe for SV.

I did some more exploring, and found the Dweller Mask for my Hat in Time on a cliff near the Stone Tower. I then went up a river, found ArcLG's Thunder Badge, and flew down to the roof of an Old Building to find the Warp Star for Milky Way Wishes, for Kirby. I dove down to the North Beach and found the first Progressive Fishing Rod for SV and the Moonsilver Medallion for FF12. I found another Esper, Adramalech, on a cliff near the Old Building.

I don't have all my Sphere 1 checks yet, but this game has quite a lot of those and I have other games I need to play too, so I'm done with A Short Hike for tonight.

I got most of my Sphere 1 checks in LttP, excluding those in the Eastern Palace. I found Yam Seeds in the Kakariko Tavern, and I took some Candy Kingdom Sweets from a Sick Kid to send to HoloCure. I paid the Bottle Merchant a hundred rupees to remove the Glittering Boulder in Stardew Valley. I explored Blind's Hideout, and found a Furnace Recipe for Stardew Valley, a Small Key that opens a door in the Tower of Hera, and an Energy Tank for Samus. The Kakariko Well had an Oldhead who wanted to join the Bomb Rush Crew, and sent a Letter to Zelda 1 to let the potion sellers know to sell to the other Link.

I explored the Lost Woods next, and found an XL Graffiti for the BRC in the Hideout, then a Grimy Fragment for FF12 on the ground. Exploring Hyrule Castle next, I found a Fire Bangle for KH2, another Progressive Raccoon for SV, and a TM38 for LeafGreen. Finally, a guard dropped blueprints for 330mm Barrage Cannons, which are too advanced for Hyrule to produce but will be useful in Starcraft once I get Thors.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is still BK but now a lot more has been done in it. I completely cleaned out Versum Hill and cleaned out most of Millennium Square. I was talking about how I was going to hint for my Camera App when possible, but I just ended up picking it up as I was playing, in the same game no less! Definitely lucked out. I am, of course, going to need more REP to proceed, but I've at least chewed through the beginning area or two and the run is starting to pick up speed. I don't think I picked up any useful progression for anyone else while playing, though. 76/247

Having absolutely no offensive magic (hell, I don't even have enough weapons for everyone in my party) meant I couldn't win. But I'll be back. This stuff is part of why FFV is so great. 108/360

Final Fantasy V is Soft BK because I didn't really get any main progression done, but the Walse Tower key definitely helped me at least dig up something. I finally managed to buy Hastega and made quick work of the Walse Tower boss (who unfortunately was not Garula) with a two-handed Enhancer. With the Tower cleaned out I figured it was a good idea to check behind Walse Castle since I was in the area to see who was there instead of Shiva, and it happened to be Titan. I thought I could take him out, and I did! That is, before he dropped an earthquake on my team right before he died, wiping my party. At least it's nice to know where he is so once I can float it's an easy victory. I cleared out North Mountain and the Library of the Ancients, who both had checks I realized I just flat out missed instead of being locked behind bosses. I decided to check Ifrit anyways, and found a Golem being terrorized by a couple of monsters, so after an unfortunate stray Bolt sword magic tapped him, we managed to save him and get him out of there. Now more than ever I think Adamantite is what I'm really looking for to open up my game, but gear progression is pretty slow. I'm happy to have Monk, but it's not particularly doing anything for me right now. Obtaining lots of Gil or some sorts of magic (given I have the mage ability to cast it) or weapons still help a lot. 124/360

Kirby Super Star is once again in BK but has been progressed as well. Being able to grab Spring Breeze from FFV and obtaining Milky Way Wishes from EoT meant there was a good amount of stuff to do, though I didn't feel like I got anything exciting the entire time I was playing. Great Cave Offensive is the big thing missing, but Dyna Blade is also the only sub-game I've yet to unlock, so that's been hinted for as well. Besides hinting for the planets I'm missing in Milky Way Wishes (Aqualiss, Hothead, Skyhigh) the only thing I'm still after is Hammer/Stone. It's been going really well, even if nothing exciting has happened. 48/131

Leaf Green remains in BK, completely unchanged. 111/1054

Here's every progression item I picked up:
A Hat in Time: Time Piece
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk: 16 REP, Solace
Final Fantasy 12: Nalbina Aeropass
Kingdom Hearts 2: Star Seeker, Sword of the Ancestor
Kirby Super Star: Spring Breeze
Stardew Valley: Combat Level

Thankfully, even if I do get the Translator for it, it wouldn't be that much trouble, since the two main islands are close to each other at the start of the loop, as I spawn on one of them, and the other drifts by it at about 1 minute into the loop.
Huh, speak of the devil, seems like Explorer of Time found my Giant's Deep Translator.
Looks like that's the only progression item I got since my last session, so I guess I got some drifting about to do for this coming session once I get home (but at least it'll be a quick one).

Edit: A short session indeed, couldn't have been longer than 10 minutes.
No deaths, and the only progression item I found was the Room 6 Key for AlexEM.

@Explorer of Time How doable is Bill the Walrus Fisherman in your Short Hike game? It's got my Green Goblet which I'm 99% sure gets me my digging ability in M&L, which is like a third of the game's checks for me lol?

Also @Devalue Any chance for S4 Bazo in your HollowKnight world? That's the thing I need to go to the woods, also in M&L.
