Are you a spender or saver?

Both. I've found a system that works for me to balance spending and saving. 75% of my monthly salary is divided up between savings and investments, and the rest of the 25% is divided between monthly bills, gift allowance, budget for dining out, and personal wants (I'm thankful that the monthly bills aren't too big because I live with my family and we own this house and land. We split the utilities too). The personal wants category however is super small right now; I'm teaching myself not to needlessly buy stuff right away. Two week rule.

i'm sadly a spender. there's so much i should save for, yet my savings acc keeps steady instead of growing, because I keep taking from it to buy stuff...............

i need to change my life aaa

I save a lot; maybe a little too much. Well, not just maybe. At the same time I kind of don't need a lot. But I also don't know it any other way? Our family hasn't been the best of there is and I've gone through some rough times. As a result I spend a lot of time thinking about whether or not need the thing that I want really bad. There's even been times when it was right in front of me, ready to be grabbed and I just went past it and left the store without it, anyway.

I'm both.
I save up money, but I also spend whenever I want something....

Saver. I've never really been one to buy things, so it feels weird when I do buy something. Of course there are lots of things I want to buy, but I almost never end up buying anything. I think part of the reason why I hesitate to buy things for myself is because I'm scared of the reactions from my parents. Like when I bought my Shinobu cosplay, I didn't tell them I bought it, and I used Visa gift cards instead of my own card in case they checked my transactions (which idk if they can, but I still try not to use my card just in case they can). Then I thought of a list of reasons why I did buy it, in the event that they do find out and I have to defend myself. I feel like they wouldn't be mad to find out I bought it (if anything, they'd probably be mad I was being sneaky about it), but I genuinely don't know.

saver. i don't like spending unless i feel like i have to. being too much of a spender in the past has gotten me into some pretty bad financial situations, so i save when and if i can these days.

I'm picky about what I purchase. This applies for gift cards too. I stash them because for months and years because I'm too indecisive about deciding what I want to use them on.

Either, I can make a budget but sometimes am irresponsible.
