I feel like this is relevant now more than ever with current events.

How are you when it comes to rules or policies? Do you oblige to them, or do you tend to find yourself as a rule breaker? Growing up, did you listen to "role models" such as your parents or teachers verbatim, or would you fight them tooth and nail over certain issues. Where do you think you stand now?

I always try to oblige. If I feel it's unfair on the grounds of discrimination or ridiculousness, then I'll speak up to have it brought to attention.

I'm not loving the foresight, so Imma see what happens from here on out. XD;;; DX

I fought with my parents a lot about rules, particularly when they were unfair rules (such as the classic different standards for each of the children) and I've had a contrary attitude for a while so I've never been one to accept rules at face value. I am a big rule follower though, when the rules make sense. It's just those times when I see a rule or authority who doesn't appear to have a justifiable reason that I want to poke at it, question it, and tear it apart.

I was taught when I was younger to have fear instilled in me if I ever broke a rule, so I'm more of a rule follower as a result. Not totally, thanks to understanding what it means to think for myself, but I still need to rely on another person to question the rules.

I was just like this... and then the world pissed me off.

I'm still a good boy at heart, but now much more snarky than ever. XDDDDD

I generally obey the rules because I don't want to get in trouble, but if the rule goes strongly against my morals I'll protest it.

I am always a rule-follower, even when I disagree with the rule. Its only in my self-interest. I always have been a rule-follower, and have always been praised for it.

I wouldnt say respecting authority is always a virtue, but it is almost never a bad thing.

At a political POV, you should really follow laws even if you dont like them. Civil disobedience is really only justified when there is an aggregious violation of freedom, such as in the Civil Rights movement. Civil disobedience made a huge difference there, and made positive social change.

I don't care about authority I have a very childish attitude towards authority fuck the police

I wish you could tell all the felons and murderers to follow the laws. . .

I follow the laws. Ignoring and picking and choosing which laws to follow can cast a shallow effect on other laws.

Even though I grew up with strict Hispanic parents, I still did some fucked up things when I was young. Afterwards I matured to where disobeying policies will get you into real trouble.
