It's understandable haha, Bard just went and made a basic game with literal vanilla as the narrative xD

Anyway, I do like your post, but kind of wish you had thrown a vote down at the end there because you were saying things that looked like they would lead to an actual vote

Pecilia's sorta-kinda jumping on Zap's admittedly silly post. is probably the most striking thing to me so far. Kiyo's post, while impressive in its detail, doesn't really tell us anything that we don't already know, especially given the lack of flavour (heh!) in these vanilla phase posts, so it could be a clever ploy to quickly establish himself as a fake townie; if the same level of analysis was applied at D3, I'd be much more likely to town-read him. Zap's post was a bit silly, but I don't know enough about his play-style to determine if it's scummy or just how he plays. And Wiicked seemed a bit agressive in response to Pecilia's post, but he often plays quite aggressively - especially as town - so I suppose there's nothing new there.

If I had to choose now, I'd vote Pecilia, but want to hear other people talk before making a final decision.

Mmmm, don't know how to feel about this post. Not liking the hesitation to vote (if you feel that strongly why not make a vote), do you need others to agree with you before you consider your own point as valid? What do you think of Wiicked so far?

I mean, I see what you're saying since I've played in those games with Zap too, but you have to admit that "tell me who to vote" is kind of new coming from him? It's like he's looking for an excuse to sheep which is scummy imo

I think Zap does actually look scummy but gotta say something feels tricky about this

To answer the part in bold, because I didn't feel that strongly, and wanted a chance for other people to talk and help improve my own reads before committing to a vote. I guess I also don't need others to agree with me, but I'm not great at being a pioneer in this sort of stuff, so other opinions and thoughts are a great help to me. Honestly, Wiicked seems to be playing defensive townie so far.

For the time being, I'll also put a [Lynch] Pecilia down. His claim is the one that a mafia would make, and out of everyone so far, he seems the most scummy to me. I'm not 100% confident by any means, but it's the best I've got to go on based on what I've read so far.

This is also my first every lynch vote against me, so I guess I'm moving up in the mafia suspicion world! Might frame it and everything! :D It's wrong of course, but it's still fun to be included!

Apologies for the late reply, even us invalids aren't on the internet every moment of every day and this is the first time I've been online today.

Basically other people have pretty much summed up exactly what my thoughts are, but for the sake of clarification. Pecilia has played in several games with Zap now, he should be well used to his unusual mannerisms. Calling him out for being exactly the same as always is just weird.

That being said, and as you can see, bandwagons start rather easily around here so I wasn't prepared to vote for him just based on that because I didn't want to start/contribute to a wagon before Pecilia even had the chance to respond - much like what you were originally doing for me. Considering that he's done very little to defend himself and that time is running out though, I am putting a vote out on him now.

There's only a maximum of two possible cultists at the moment? Seems like a gross overstatement made.

Since I haven't played in a while, I'm not overly familair with how some people play (so I couldn't point out the behaviors shown by both zap and Pecilia here) but if what gp says is correct (about Pecilia should know this is a common thing for Zap to portray) then I understand where this bandwagon is coming from. With that I'll put my vote down as [Lynch] Pecilia for now.

Now I may not be one to speak, since I haven't really added much of anything to the conversation this day phase but... Gunner's lynch-and-run post is the only thing she's said this phase. I know it's day 1 but even forcing yourself to speak a little bit can help people get more reads. Lynch-and-run tactics just don't sit well with me.

I'm glad someone else took notice. I hope my senseless sacrifice brings you all to find the scum, because surely another mislynch after this one will spell doom for the town.
 
well I don't feel like making a long post right now because life, so basically...

I agree with Kiyo's point about Aqua and Pie. I saw it as well when I made my first post but I didn't include it because I wasn't too sure about it - a couple other people were also dismissing Zap, and I didn't think they'd defend him so openly if they were scum buddies. But then I didn't think of Kiyo's theory, so now it makes more sense.

also why are people voting for Pecilia again? He basically just said "oh hey this looks a bit fishy," and then gave his reasons why when pressed. May or may not be a silly Zap post, but it was early on on D1, the discussion had to start somewhere.

You can apply the same logic to the pressure on Pecilia. Although there's a bit more to go on there as I've already explained.
 
Because defending yourself when pressured because of a petty post is scummy. Roleclaiming Skittle is also scummy as opposed to matyrdoming yourself and trying to get a counter claim when claiming a PR. That seems like the smarter thing to do if you're going to lie about it.

This makes a lot of sense.

And Pecilia's posts after my initial read also make a lot of sense, and track with his playstyle when he's been an inno cornered in situations like these in the past. I'm town-reading him now.
