Well stats and moves and everything is very helpful so we can see just what you are using and make tweaks from there as right now, all I know is that you are using Pokemon...
We can't really rate your team without the other details..

Rampardos is really bad, especially when your team members have Earthquake and it's using special attacks...>_>

To win at doubles all you really have to do is spam Explosion+Protect. Metagross is the best candidate as it does well against ghost-types that are immune to explosion with Meteor Mash while that and EQ decimate rocks and steels. Skarmory is annoying but what doesn't that thing wall lol

The ideal partner is probably Azelf if you can get one. Levitate makes it immune to EQ from Metagross and it's a wonderful special attacker that also beats up Gengar. Boom when necessary.

You can use other strategies but that one works the best. Skill Swapping to Slaking kind of works...

Well, in the beginnings of building my Battle Frontier Army, I nabbed the following:

Adamant Registeel: 5 - 7 / 30 - 31 / 30 - 31 / 5 - 7 / 10 - 12 / 28 - 29

I was thinking about using a CurseRegisteel set with this guy. Is this a good pick?

READ THIS EDIT: THIS IS FOR 3RD GEN BATTLE FRONTEIR. DON'T GIVE ME ANY 4TH GEN STUFF >=(

Registeel is TERRIBLE in the frontier compared to Snorlax or Suicune. Besides, the one stat Registeel needs the most is lacking horribly. Snorlax does Curse better than this, and Metagross does most everything else better. If you want to use Registeel, you should try to Toxic stall probably, but Regice and even Regirock are probably better choices.

But if you do use Registeel, throw in Salamence with it. They make an alright duo.

Also the army thing was totally my idea

I'm Rethinking my Infernape, which is currently the following set:

Infernape@Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot/HP [Ice]
- Focus Blast

Due to the unreliability of Focus Blast, I intend to run HP Fighting. Although I am starting to wonder if the lack of HP Ice and/or the massive power of NP Focus Blast (although irrelevant, it OHKOs Blissey with Life Orb) will hinder it later on. I am mainly looking for Anti, Beachy and Vance's comments, as they have good BT or Infernape knowledge.

one thing id like beach boy to fix,try opening angelicx diable's team(dont know spelling)and abayay's team opens!XD

In addition i actually have a new D/P battle tower team too lol. Its kinda Jumpman rip off relying on the same strategy, but idc lol. Its been doing really well surpassing my previous record with 122 wins so far and still going, definately my best ever bt team =]. Ill try and get some proof later if my camera decides to show up.

Team Overview : -
Code:
"image removed"*pokemonelite2000 image removed*"image removed"
Team in depth : -
*image removed*
Rotom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 Hp / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Ice / Thunderwave

Trick scarf Rotom !! Basically what this does is Trick its scarf first turn and locks the foe into something silly aka a stat up move or something which luke and latios dont care about (iirc Latios and Luke resist every type between them), this then allows Latios and Lucario it eat things with a free set up =]. Im considering Thunderwave to trick scarf and then t-wave. Im currently using hp ice hower, because dragons are newb=/

---
*image removed*
Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -S.Atk)
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Extremepseed
- Close Combat

Standard SD Luke, you all should know what it does, nothing can take + 6 assaults from this. Im using Shadow Claw for the crit rate and because i kinda forgot to get myself another one with crunch after forgetting crunch was an egg move >:

---
*image removed*
Latios (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 Hp / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Grass Knot
- Recover / Rest

Latios !! Again abusive of the turns Rotom grants , sweeping stuff afer some calm minds =]. I suppose Rest could be used to heal status if i lock the opponent into it with said scarf ? Idk

Help ? Sorry i couldnt go more in depth, but im short for time lol

736 Walrein Bold Brightpowder Sheer Cold Fissure Rest Sleep Talk Def/Sp. Def

>_> Noobiest set ever.

I failed to this at battle #148

Basically Trick missed (i didnt even know it could )Sheer Cold OHKO's Rotom

Close Combat missed, Fissure OHKO's Lucario.

Grass Knot HITS and does like 70% and then his Sheer Cold hits yet again and OHKO's Latios.... ugh.

Complete utter garbage =/

I know what that's like, D_A. You'd be better off if you can fit a 100% acc Move and/or a Focus Sash into your team. The latter can aid against other OHKO onslaughts. How effective do you find the trick lead? Consider Will-o-wisp for shutting down Physical Threats.

Well out of all the BT leads, i find trick@choice item leads the best since they lock the A.I into one move which gives (and pretty much guarantees) me a free set ups. This shows in my record of 148. W-o-w, i doubt will do much...

I might try a Sash on Luke actually though, although im sceptical because lucario is meant to take advantages of the free turns on the locked in opponent and that means coming in on resistances more often than not, this is emphasized even more since Latios + Lucario resist every type together (iirc) so abusing resistances are very important with this team. Thus the sash will more than likely broken upon switching in. Leading me to believe "its a waste and i will miss the Life Orb", but ill try it anyway and see how it works out.

So I have a team in mind, I have no idea how well it will do in the Battle Tower, but hopefully it won't utterly fail...

*smogon.com link removed*
Electrode @ Focus Sash
Nature : Hasty
252 Atk // 252 Spe // 4 Sp Atk

Explosion
Light Screen
Rain Dance
Thunder

Basically I set up rain dance no matter what happens thanks to Focus Sash. Then if I am left on 1 HP I blow up hopefully taking down something with me. If I haven't been touched or could survive another hit I Light Screen before exploding.

*image removed*
Kingdra @ Life Orb
Nature : Naughty
252 Atk // 252 SpA // 4 Spe

Outrage
Waterfall
Surf
Dragon Dance

So with the Light Screen support from Electrode hopefully I can withstand an attack to Dragon Dance. If I can't DD, Swift Swim gives me 413 speed which is probably high enough to outspeed most of the battle tower so I can simply sweep from there getting the bonus from Rain and Surf or Waterfall. From there I just sweep sweep away! I tweaked the EV's as I don't need as much speed to outrun anything as I get Rain Dance up guaranteed with Focus Sash Electrode so Swift Swim will be active. Surf over Hydro Pump for the accuracy as I don't like Battle Tower hax!

*image removed*
Garchomp @ Life Orb
Nature : Jolly
252 Att // 252 Spe // 6 HP

Swords Dance
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
Earthquake

Clears up after Kingdra if needed. Swords Dance and away we go!

rain dance kingdra will fare better in the BT!
kingdra @ life orb
modest
252sp.att/92hp/164speed
rain dance
surf
ice beam/dragon pulse
hp[electric]

either that or
same set as yours but draco meteor>>>surf
eves:208att/136sp.att/164speed

fire fang in the rain :(
outrage will do more damage to levitate bronzong then fire fang..and rain will last only 5 turns.but i guess the battles are short.substitue>>>>>fire fang
lum berry>>>>>>yache berry>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>life orb
you dont need that extra kick + kindra has lifr orb..you cant
repeat items.SD and sweep!

Well I was thinking that the rain will either be over before Garchomp gets in or Kingdra would have destroyed the other team before Garchomp gets a sight..
I think I will put Substitute over Fire Fang and keep him. Chances are, Kingdra will be doing a lot of the battling.

Dark_seeker, I don;t need any Speed EV's as while Rain is going, Kingdra will be outspeeding nearly every threat in the Tower as there are no Choice Scarfs. I want Surf for a reliable Special move which is boosted in the rain and STAB.
I will put Yache Berry on Chomp and mentioned above, Sub of Fire Fang.

both hold life orb so you may change the item on one!

Yeah I edited my post, sorry. Life Orb has been replaced with Yache Berry as Sub should be able to stop status most of the time.

Ok I am going to change Kingdra to;

Kingdra @ Life Orb
Nature : Modest
252 SpA // 164 Spe //92 HP

Ice Beam
Surf
Rain Dance
Draco Meteor

Is that better?

Nice enough, but iirc, BT Kingdras run 252 or 172 Spd. You fail to outrun either. I really don't see the use in Kingdra and Chomp...

Oh, look into Qwilfish as an interesting Rain Lead. Waterfall/Rain Dance/Taunt Explosion @Sash, iirc.

Question time! Would this fare well in the Battle Tower?
Clefable @ Toxic Orb
Nature : Adamant || Magic Guard
168 HP // 252 Atk // 84 SPD
Cosmic Power
Belly Drum
Softboiled
Facade

With Toxic Orb I become immune to Hypnosis and Paralysis resulting in less hax to worry about and with Magic Guard, Toxic isn't doing any damage to me anyways. I basically switch into something that isn't going to be doing much to me like a special attacker then I Cosmic Power up or just Belly Drum straight away. I can then Softboiled off any damage and proceed to fire off +6, STAB, 140 BP Facades off a 262 attack stat. The attack stat isn't all too amazing, but when coupled with bulk and immunity to Status and capabilities to recover 50% HP through Softboiled.
