My mom always complains about how many cars there are on the busy streets around our neighbourhood. Every time, she recalls how low gas prices were and how little cars there were in her time XD

I feel like the traffic is bad here sometimes, but it's nothing in comparison to city traffic, I'm sure.

Our traffic here is bad, but I didn't learn what true traffic was until I saw what DC rush hour traffic was... now that's bad. Twenty miles. Completely stopped. Friday afternoon going south on I95.

You want bad traffic? Try driving on the 405 freeway in LA, or the 101 freeway. There's always traffic there all day erryday. Glad I don't get as much traffic where I live now since the only major highway is the I-8 and it never gets traffic. xD

Traffic is surprisingly not bad where I live, even during rush hour. The only time traffic is really bad is when there's an accident. The worst traffic jam I've ever been in was pretty bad though. What should have been a 20 minute trip took 4 hours o_o

Traffic is quite bad here at times (usually due to people crashing) but it can always be worse i say :P

I remember one really bad traffic lineup I was in once: I was in Florida in 2012, and we were coming back from Universal Studios. There was this insanely long line of cars and we were going nowhere. It wasn't until far in that we realized there was a motorcycle fatality the police were investigating, so the roads were held up.

That's just one REALLY bad one. I've been in others, like on the way to and from Philadelphia sports games, though. And let me tell you, those can suck.

Traffic used to get very bad daily on a stretch of highway near here (I-494 between US-169 and MN-5 going eastbound and vice versa for westbound). This stretch has the airport and MOA on the east end and has a steady mix of shopping malls, apartments, and suburban office towers along the whole stretch and what basically is the wealthiest part of Minnesota on the west end. We'll see if that remains a problem now that it's 4 lanes each way for the entire stretch. Was the 13th worst stretch in the nation in 2010 and it didn't really get improved until this past year.

Never really been in many awful jams, though. Other than ones caused by heavy snowfall during rush hour that multiply my commute by 2.5 times, that is. That's never fun.

I can't even imagine driving in that kind of traffic. I'd probably have a panic attack. XD;

Traffic towards Toronto in the morning can be frustrating. The first week of school I remember getting stuck for a good 1.5 - 2 hours in the morning so thankfully my parents shoved me out 1.5 hours before my class XD After school around 4 - 5 PM heading out of Toronto can get jammed up too...So much time wasted sitting in a car every week.

I don't really deal with traffic much, being a city boy. Municipal transit in a suburb during rush hour? No problem a'tall.

EDIT: DAMNIT I WAS SUPPOSED TO SCREENSHOT MY 1,250TH POST. DDD:<

I can somehow relate to your struggle. Living in the #1 attraction state, lots of tourists come here every year to check out the theme parks, driving here in the interstate is worse than driving in the snow.

I love driving! And I love it so much I enjoy driving on the Interstates at the young age I am xD

But because I love Interstate driving, I have to check the traffic before I go to school so I don't get stuck behind bumper-to-bumper traffic, since backups happen easily from one accident here :( and every Interstate here through Tampa is like literally under construction

I've never been there, but I used to have an online friend who lived there, and he said it was nice, but really loud and chaotic. xD;

Tell me about it! Whenever I go home it takes around 2 hours to get back to where I live by bus. Even a car would take around that long because soo much traffic boo. Been wanting to go to Nintendo World for some plushies lately, though.. gotta decide when I'd want to be gone pretty much all day. ;_;
