I love how Mexico gets all hyped and enthusiastic a year before the world cup begins and BOOM Argentina (or another really good team) goes and beats their asses in the second round. xD

Overall, the world cup is something that I also enjoy :D

Agreed. But from my knowledge and what i saw from them, i dont really think they can beat Chile. Also it seems like every single time they get the easiest opponents for the Qualifiers XD
 
Im not big on Soccer/football. I come from a European family, however, they are more so connected with cricket.
Im going to a Houston Dynamo soccer game soon, so maybe ill get into it!
 
Gah I enjoy soccer! I'm not a fanatic, but I enjoy watching it from time to time. I'll be in South America this summer while the World Cup is going on and it's going to be crazy!!
 
I'm hoping for a good World Cup this year, to be honest. The last one was bad, bad.
We won't be able to beat Germany, but we should be able to beat both Ghana and the US if all our players are in good shape. Quarter-finals would be good enough, we don't have the squad we once had.

Same here! I'm rooting for Bosnia since one of my good friends is from there. I doubt they'll do much but this is the first WC they've been in in a long time, if ever. Who are you guys rooting for?

i play soccer but i dont pay attention to international soccer on TV unless i go to my local mexican resturaunt. (not a racist joke im just saying thats all they put on there)

Bosnia is actually quite underrated I'd say. They have a chance of making it to the knockout stages.

I think Brazil will win but Germany has a strong chance if they don't bottle it in more important stages like they have been for forever.
 
I'm absoutely bored with my music library. Thank goodness for YouTube, eh? Gotta love some Weird Al, particularly this parody of his.

 
I'm looking forward to the world cup. Poland went terribly in qualifications (no thanks to a bad coach), but at least Australia got through. But thanks to the previous coach doing badly (and not developing much in the way of new players), we're be lucky to get a point given the group we're in. :V

But first there's the winter Olympics to watch!

Well I'm more excited for the Olympics than the World Cups. I've had a somewhat interest in soccer since I was a kid though. I actually signed for the soccer team freshman year of high school and then left after 3 days. XD
 
Yeah soccer can get boring at times, though something has always intrigued me about the sport. Though obviously I was never good at it at all lol.

@Zach I have lot of schoolwork too , though hockey is really the only sport in the Winter Olympics and maybe skating that interested me. Summer Olympics is much more exciting. Still excited to watch as much as possible.
