Boss fights you were disappointed with?

In Fable 2 the main antagonist who is built up for the entire game is beaten in a single hit.

I was like..10 years when I played it and I still haven't forgotten about that.

The original Spider Man 2 game out on the PS2. All the build up for this 'epic' Mysterio boss fight that ends with only a single punch LOL. It was a huge disappointment for me at the time, but even then I still found the absurdity of it really funny.

The Prophet of Regret in Halo 2. For context, I'd gotten into Halo Wars (an RTS) well before any of the FPS Halo games, and I was a Regret main. The Prophet of Regret hero unit could get really, really powerful, and I was looking forward to getting to fight the force of devastation I used so often in Wars, since most other enemies I'd fought mapped fairly well to their RTS incarnations. Regret... not so much. He's mechanically treated as a vehicle, which means you can instakill him by meleeing his throne, and he's invulnerable to actual ranged attacks, requiring you to use the cheesy-feeling melee 1HKO to kill him.

It's not really a boss per se, but the Arena/True Arena in Kirby Planet Robobot. The bosses are always in the same chronological order you battle them in the story, whereas the Arena/True Arena in previous Kirby games shuffle the order of bosses (aside from the final bosses, of course). I like the variety of not knowing what comes next, so battling the bosses in the same order every time bugs me.

If I'm going to choose...

With Pokemon, of course, I would have to say the more recent champions I've been disappointed in. They've all been a cakewalk, aside from Volo from Legends.

The newer Sonic games as well, their boss fights aren't that challenging as they use to be.
