I find this whole situation stupid, really I do. I find protesting in general stupid and a complete waste of time but screw it, let them protest like all the other protests that's happened in the last 4 years. People are acting like white supremacists rallies is a new thing, well it's not. Also Trump isn't to blame for these rallies because we've always had white supremacists, they were existing long before Trump was even born. Also, it's no different than the BLM protests which ended up in riots and destroying of communities. But that's okay right, it was for a good cause right? They have the right to express themselves right? Yet, as soon as Trump supporters and white supremacists do a protest everyone's outraged? Hmm. Double standards much? Jesus Christ humanity scares me. Can I just live on another planet now?
And btw this is all I'm going to say. I don't have time to argue with people
of course we've always had white supremacists but trumps ideas and lack of condemnation for white supremacy and the rule under a white president are making them more comfortable to speak their mind. as for calling this event a protest, you cannot say the deaths that occurred in this terrorist attack are a simple protest. the blm protests are organized voices saying 'stop killing my people', while these nazi protests are calling for the killing of billions. the moment people start to call for the systematic killing of entire populations, of course everyone is outraged. it is not hard to see the difference between the two, or so i thought.
julius goat said it best: 'THIS is 'white people' oppression: We used to be the only voice. Now we hold the only microphone.'
