I'm wondering what the last chapters would be like despite the way the arc went. Crashed and burned.

I thought friendship alone was keeping it alive.

and so, big bad mighty Acnologia who slayed millions of dragons who could rival Zeref in power is defeated by a one shot power of friendship from Natsu, along with the feelings of friendship of his fellow slayer dragons.

can't say i didn't see this coming.

I'm anxious about what the new chaps will be tho

If it's a future arc where gajeel and levy have a family I will forgive mashima

Yeah honestly I hope the next chapter is a time skip but at least please don't make it like Bleach with an OP demon child

I hope it's worth my spending 8 years on the series lol (I've been into it since 09)

friendship is the only way they ever win their battles.. haha. so i can't say i didn't expect it
i honestly can't picture any other way for them to win, since that's how much i expect it/am used to it. would be nice to see a real fight with tactics but in the end it's friendship powa.

but pls B> gajeel and levy family scene ; ; i didn't even care much for levy originally but this pair is too cute!

Well if this series has taught me anything it's that friendship is the most OP thing in the universe.

K now can we talk about how hype these last few chapters are I really want a timeskip thing where it shows what happens to everyone.

Well, we did get a timeskip... I'd be upset that even the two characters that were supposed to die, actually didn't in the end, but y'know what? I was surprisingly sad to see the story end after five years of diligently keeping up with it, and it's like... (Zeref's eyes aren't squinty anymore, that scared me for a second) ...well damn, honestly I didn't even feel this way when RAVE Master ended. Especially on that part where Team Natsu rolled up for the Hundred Year Quest and they were dressed in their original outfits. And then the story ended back on their "Do fairies have tails?" motif. One endless adventure just came to its close, but it was just that, an adventure, and I'm unequivocally happy to have been part of it.

Ugh, Fairy Tail became so bad but the happy endings for everyone though.

Such a sad way to see it go.

The ending actually tugged at my heart. I know some people are disappointed seeing Mavis and Zeref return, but they're new people with whole different identities now that it just breaks my heart knowing they don't seem to have their previous memories. Or maybe they're just look-alikes? Either way, it makes me qq.

GAH though. Would've at least liked to see a teeny tiny hint of NaLu dropped somewhere. Maybe Natsu saying he wanted to tell her something, then grinning it off as usual and saying he'd just say it later and THE END run off to the Hundred-Year Quest.

Gajeel and Levy though! Awwww. Kids?! And it was 'bout time Gray and Juvia happened.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat this, I literally cried a little reading the last chapter. Idk about you guys but I've been a fan of this series for so long, that final chapter really got me.

Also what are we even gonna do with this club now? Lmao

I guess the anime will be back but that's next year so it'll be a long time before anything more happens
